  4. v7.5.0iOS
We’re excited to introduce the new Synoptic Outlook in this major feature release. See the bigger picture with a global interactive map that reveals the broad weather patterns shaping your local conditions for the week ahead.

Pan and zoom around the map to follow major rain bands, track low and high pressure systems that drive storms or calmer weather, and spot cold and warm fronts that signal major shifts in temperature.

Synoptic Outlooks are handy to help you stay informed about what’s driving the weather around you. It also helps you to:

    Assess large scale rain impacts.

    Plan for multi-destination travel.

    Monitor conditions over the ocean.

This dynamic map replaces the previous static synoptic charts. Give it a go and let us know your feedback as we continue to build out more features.

  7. v7.4.1iOS
Good news! We've added hourly rain amounts in the Graph tab, so you can better prepare for rainy days. Just swipe through the Graph to visually see how much rain will fall, when it's happening, together with the chance of rain.

Here's a bonus for snow lovers. Keep an eye out for the snow icon above the rain bars on the Graph – this indicates a likely chance the precipitation will fall as snow. It’s perfect for planning your next ski trip or local snow chasing adventure. As always, you can also see snow precipitation on the Radar.

Introducing future radar projections for the next hour! Future radar applies AI and machine learning to combine actual radar data and satellite-derived estimates into a dynamic real-time projection.

You may notice a shift in radar contouring from observed to future timestamps, but this is expected. The resolution of future radar is also dependent on the quality of local radar imagery available.

You can turn this on or off at any time within the settings on the Radar Tab.
