Thank you for using ConduitBend and for the care you bring to conduit work and customer conversations. You know that a good recommendation needs more than a quick number. This update helps you keep the measurements, trial results, costs, and bend details together so a customer can see how you reached a proposal.
The Sales workspace now gives each opportunity a clearer path:
- Start with a customer and project instead of a loose collection of notes.
- Use the opportunity overview to see which customer, project, and follow-up records belong together.
- Copy customer details from Apple Contacts when you choose to use them.
- Save repeat assemblies with quantities, revisions, tolerances, labels, and approval status.
- Attach a saved bend calculation to the assembly it supports.
- Record the exact bender, shoe, table, and accessories proposed for the work.
- Keep a manufacturer source and literature date with each equipment capability profile.
- Time setup and production for both the current method and the proposed method.
- Enter accepted and rejected assemblies, material loss, consumables, and loaded labor.
- Review the observed cost per acceptable assembly after a trial.
- Compare released labor capacity and realizable cash savings as separate figures.
- Model purchase cost, financing, maintenance, training, rental, and payback assumptions.
- Compare field fabrication, the contractor's own shop, and purchased prefabrication.
- Build a package quote from entered items and prices.
- Correct a customer or assembly name once and see the linked detail reflected in later reports.
- Share a branded PDF customer report that shows the figures and assumptions behind it.
- Export individual sales record types as CSV when you need a spreadsheet copy.
Bend Proof and saved work are easier to use throughout the job:
- Find offsets, saddles, kicks, 90s, parallel runs, compound bends, and segmented layouts in one calculator menu.
- See a useful error message when measurements cannot produce a valid layout.
- Create a bender as a draft, then save it when its name and centerline radius are ready.
- Keep the measurements for the current bend type in exports, shown in the selected units.
- Review saved calculations in History and load older entries when the first page is not enough.
- Open an earlier History entry to restore its bend type, measurements, and saved bender snapshot.
- Search the history you have loaded and see a clear message when nothing matches.
- See calculation totals and activity in Statistics, including older imported records.
- Use Reference search to find formulas, topics, and sources, then open a related calculator.
- Keep your unit and appearance choices when you delete saved database records.
Smaller changes help with handoffs and repeat visits:
- Browse larger Sales lists smoothly as more customer records are added.
- Import adds missing records without replacing a matching saved record.
- PDF summaries make it clear how many recent calculations are listed.
- Reports keep recorded trial results distinct from estimates, with sources visible for capability review.
- Share and print files get distinct names when you create more than one in a short time.
- The Apple Watch shows Custom after you edit the values from a saved preset.
- Help, Settings, and purchase messages use clearer language about what each action does.
- Record deletion explains what it removes and what preferences stay in place.
The numbers remain yours to review. Demonstration results reflect what you recorded; comparisons reflect the assumptions you entered. Check current manufacturer literature and job conditions before quoting a machine or promising an outcome. Thank you for putting ConduitBend to work.
