- v5.1iOS
We’re bringing new features and improvements to DayCount! Here’s what you’ll find in this update… + Schedule summary alerts to notify you daily of the count for up to 5 of your events or streaks, directly to your device Lock Screen. You can also select the exact time you want the summary alert to be sent. + Import items from your calendar directly into DayCount. You can search your calendar directly in-app, and select multiple items to be imported at the same time. + Save a location to your event, so you don’t forget where you’re going on the day. Even just tap on a saved location to get directions using either Apple Maps or Google Maps. The choice is yours. ;) + Add days to today’s date, to find the future date, or even subtract days to find a past date. For example, if you’re wondering what’s the date 276 days from now (because why not?), you can do that easily now. + Each of your events has the option to now show decimals, so you can get the count, without any rounding. For example, if it is 1 day and 20 hours until, DayCount now will show 1.8 days until, instead of rounding down to 1 day. It’s nice to be precise like that. :) + See the count for one of your events using an icon badge, directly on your Home Screen. Do you know that red dot showing the number of emails you haven’t bothered to read yet? Don't feel bad, we all have it. That’s what we’re using to show the count for your favorite event. + When scheduling alerts, you can now switch on an ‘Alert on Day’ toggle, which as the name suggests, will send you a notification on the day of the event. Nice and easy. + During creating an event, you can now categorize it into the category of your choosing, or even create categories at the same time, and then categorize, it’s pretty nifty like that. + When creating custom widgets, there are now toggles to disable text, so if you wish to see just the count number, you can achieve that minimalistic look now. Not going to lie, it looks pretty sweet! + There’s now a ‘Minutes’ option when scheduling alerts, for those who live life, one minute at a time. + We’re now utilizing a bit of skeleton loading when refreshing events. It’s a much cleaner look compared to using spinning circles before (*insert facepalm). + Face ID & Touch ID settings page has been redesigned, and, we’ve also enhanced the splash screen a bit. + Swiping on an event will now reveal an options button, that will allow you to share, reset date and delete. And there we go! We’ve worked hard to bring you all these new features, so if you do have a spare moment, please don’t forget to rate and review on the App Store. A few of the above features have been requested by our users, we are always happy to hear about any feature suggestions you might have, so feel free to shoot us an email from within the app! Enjoy!
