Sounds dangerous, but it isn't. This feature simply shows you on the map where you can travel within a certain time frame and what great things there are to discover there.

To help you ride well, we now have the new CycleOSM bicycle map available for all of Europe. No matter where you are travelling in Europe, this will always show you which routes are best suited for cycling.

Also, freshly arrived: when routing, you can now choose whether you want to take the fastest or the shortest route.

If you want to save data while on the go, use offline maps. In the beginning, you can purchase maps of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, either the federal states and cantons individually or get the bundles. Hint: more countries following soon…

From the category "what you might not have known": Car tyres are the largest contributors of microplastics to the world's oceans. Bicycle tyres also cause microplastics, but much less. How much less, we now show you in the Biketour.Guide. Have a look at your achievements.

Additionally, we have tidied up a lot in the engine room. Therefore, you now also have POIs in many European countries – and more are constantly being added. There are so many that we needed AI assistance to sort them out. For some POIs, we have supplemented data from additional sources. With this update, you can save the code in your photos and then access it directly from the photos using the QR code scanner. No printing, no second device, just get started.

	•	Route planning in the app: From now on, you can plan all your routes directly in the app and even set two additional waypoints. How about making a stop at your favourite café?
	•	Route sharing: Want to share your self-planned route with your friends? No problem. With just a click on the "Share" button, you can let everyone know about it.
	•	Your achievements: Cycling is not only fun but also good for the environment, saves you money, and improves your fitness. The app now vividly shows you the extent of your personal savings and achievements through cycling.
	•	Even more POI categories: Now, all the POI categories available on the website are also in the app. Enjoy exploring water-related destinations, easy route planning with the junction point system, and much more.
	•	New navigation bar: The bottom toolbar on the screen provides you with quick access to the most important features at all times.
	•	New premium offerings: If you only need our premium features for a day trip or a short vacation, you no longer have to subscribe to a full membership. The new day and week passes are designed to meet your needs.

For our premium users (thank you for your support), we have added even more features:
	•	More waypoints: For you, two waypoints are just the beginning; make as many intermediate stops as you want.
	•	Configurable cockpit display: Customise your cockpit the way you want it. In addition to speed, you can choose four more displays from a variety of options that suit your preferences best.
	•	Focus navigation display: Maps are nice, but when you're biking, all that matters are your surroundings. That's where the new focus navigation display option comes in handy. Large arrows without any distractions show you the way, allowing you to focus on your ride.
	•	Voice navigation: Do you want your navigator to tell you where to go, or would you prefer it to stay silent and only show you directions? Adjusting the settings on Biketour.Guide is easy, so you can customise it precisely to your needs.
