Support for iOS 10

A software problem that causes the app to fail to operate on iOS 6 and iOS 7 has been fixed.

Digit-Eyes Lite can now be added to the Notification Center.

This version of the Digit-Eyes software has a completely new and simplified user interface design.   New features include the ability to create lists, to add the items you have scanned to lists; add text of your own to lists and to share the lists with other people.  The new version also features integral laser scanner support to allow you to easily use your bluetooth-connected laser scanner with your iPhone, iPod or iPad.

This version of the Digit-Eyes software reads QR codes that contain vCard information and gives you the option to add the vCard information to your contacts.  Additionally, when a UPC / EAN code is scanned and not found, you can use the "web search" button to try and find the code on the Internet.

A menu was added to make buying software upgrades  easier.

This version of the software has better handling of web addresses in the text-format labels.

Corrects a problem where the "clicking" noise that indicates that the scanning operation was in progress was not always audible.

You can now purchase separate upgrades that allow you to add functionality to read UPC and EAN manufacturer's barcodes, to read code 3-of-9 barcode labels or to read code128 barcode labels. You can also add an option to record and play Digit-Eyes audio labels of your own.

If you have an iPhone 3GS, you must install this version to be able to use Digit-Eyes Lite on iOS 4.2.1

When the scanned barcode contains a URL, you can now click to view the website.

In addition to English, Italian, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, Digit-Eyes is now localized in Danish, Norwegian, Polish and Swedish.

This version runs on the iPod Touch 4 and has been localized to support French, Spanish, Italian, German, Norwegian, Danish, Polish and Portuguese in addition to English.
