In the latest version of Dolby On for iOS we've made major updates to the look, feel, and function of our livestreaming feature. That's right - we're making your stream dreams come true! For starters, users can now livestream in portrait AND landscape mode. We've also made some improvements to the overall functionality to make livestreaming easier and more intuitive for all users. iPad users, this one's for you! Livestreaming is now available for iPad. Easily stream to Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, and via RTMP with exceptional sound quality - no additional gear required! Here's your chance to take your content to the next level without investing in expensive gear or studio space. Best of all, with the Soundcheck feature you can make sure your sound is just right before you go live. Oh but wait! There's more... - In this release, we also removed the Instagram icon from the sharing options if Instagram is not already installed on your device. - The Dolby On app is now available for users with iOS 13 and higher.

Top billing feature includes: We're now supporting low power mode so you can get the most from Dolby On without your phone going into overdrive. You now have the option to remove audio visualizations from your tracks. When recording in Lossless, a badge will now appear letting you know it's on AND you'll see a Lossless badge on your track in the library. Having trouble finding what you need in the library? Enjoy the updated filters! We added a "swipe to go back" gesture in Settings. Please note that Dolby On will no longer allow livestreaming to Groups on Facebook.

In the immortal words of the Bachman Turner Overdrive band, the latest version of Dolby On is all about "Takin' care of business". We've been hard at work making tweaks and fixes behind the scenes to bring our users a better experience. Here's what we've done: - We fixed an issue with the bottom menu. (For some users is was disappearing after going to Library/Settings after starting a recording). - To prepare for the new iOS 14 operating system, we updated permissions to photos during importing and exporting. Some honorable mentions: - Removed the age pop-up screen. - We changed the pink button to a white one for Mic Details. - It's official, iOS 11 is not supported with this version.

But what about YouTube, Vimeo, Loola TV and more livestreaming platforms? Well now you can! Introducing the new RTMP integration. RTMP is a feature that allows you to stream to many different platforms, so you can reach more people on the platform of your choosing. Simply swipe the livestream screen and choose "Paste your own URL" as your platform choice. Lastly, copy the streaming key and RTMP link and paste them below. Now you're set to start streaming!
