This release is all about making recording easier for all! We made some quick fixes for users of the VoiceOver Accessibility feature. Oh and did you notice something new about us? That's right, we updated our lewk on our App Store page. Feeling pretty and we won't delete later ; )

In the latest update to Dolby On - powered by Dolby.io, we've improved where and how you can share your audio and video clips, and improved livestreaming navigation. We've also taken care of some nasty bugs, like shortening your file names so you can find them faster, issues with playback, trash icon positioning, and more. We hope you have a great holiday season and don't forget to show us your holiday spirit with the hashtag #dolbyon!

In the latest version of Dolby On for iOS we've made major updates to the look, feel, and function of our livestreaming feature. That's right - we're making your stream dreams come true! For starters, users can now livestream in portrait AND landscape mode. We've also made some improvements to the overall functionality to make livestreaming easier and more intuitive for all users. Happy recording... and streaming(!) from the Dolby On team.

Looks like we were having a tiny problem connecting to SoundCloud so we just went ahead and took care of that for ya.

iPad users, this one's for you!

Livestreaming is now available for iPad. Easily stream to Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, and via RTMP with exceptional sound quality - no additional gear required! Here's your chance to take your content to the next level without investing in expensive gear or studio space. Best of all, with the Soundcheck feature you can make sure your sound is just right before you go live.

Oh but wait! There's more...
- In this release, we also removed the Instagram icon from the sharing options if Instagram is not already installed on your device.
- The Dolby On app is now available for users with iOS 13 and higher.

In the latest version of Dolby On for iOS we're bringing you even more ways to customize and create! Top billing feature includes:

We're now supporting low power mode so you can get the most from Dolby On without your phone going into overdrive.

You now have the option to remove audio visualizations from your tracks.

When recording in Lossless, a badge will now appear letting you know it's on AND you'll see a Lossless badge on your track in the library.

We're just patchin' up holes, cleanin' cobwebs, and getting ready for winter surprises :) The latest version of Dolby On is all about tidying up.

In the immortal words of the Bachman Turner Overdrive band, the latest version of Dolby On is all about "Takin' care of business". We've been hard at work making tweaks and fixes behind the scenes to bring our users a better experience. Here's what we've done:

- We fixed an issue with the bottom menu. (For some users is was disappearing after going to Library/Settings after starting a recording).
- To prepare for the new iOS 14 operating system, we updated permissions to photos during importing and exporting.

Some honorable mentions:
- Removed the age pop-up screen.
- We changed the pink button to a white one for Mic Details.
- It's official, iOS 11 is not supported with this version.

We're continuing to bring you behind the scenes improvements along with some visible UI tweaks to help you make even more use of Dolby On for live streaming and importing your AV content. 

Important support update: beginning with this release, Dolby On will no longer support iOS 11.

In the latest version of Dolby On we’ve made it easier than ever to share the app with a friend, bandmate, or co-conspirator! Just tap the “Spread the Word” feature in Settings.

Introducing the new RTMP integration. RTMP is a feature that allows you to stream to many different platforms, so you can reach more people on the platform of your choosing. Simply swipe the livestream screen and choose "Paste your own URL" as your platform choice.  Lastly, copy the streaming key and RTMP link and paste them below. Now you're set to start streaming!
