fixed launch time crash for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 *

NOTE: iPad version is unchanged, so updating is not necessary!!

* This update/fix is for iPhone users that experienced a crash on launch (iPhone 3GS devices with iOS6 and some iPhone 4 devices with iOS 6).
