- Whole note rests now appear on the correct staff line. (Thanks, Jorg!)
- Quarter, eighth, sixteenth, and thirty-second rests are now positioned more intuitively, aligned with the nearest note staff line or space.
- Split voicings (e.g., hands vs. feet, drums vs. cymbals) now place rests more intelligently to avoid visual collisions with notes in the opposite voice. (Thanks, Damien, Zak, and Hinrich!)
- Beat structure editing has been improved: inserting, duplicating, and deleting measures now show clear icons, with delete actions marked in red for clarity.
- Fixed a potential crash on startup that could occur in rare situations.

- Faster initial launch time for quicker access to your beats.
- Hi-hat volume has been reduced to blend more naturally with the kit. (Thanks, Alvaro!)
- Replaced hi-hat accent sample for a more realistic and consistent sound.
- New repeat options when looping a measure or exercise: now includes 20, 24, and 28 times. (Thanks, Collin!)
- Repeat signs now display correctly when starting playback from any measure or exercise.
- Freemium limits, such as total beats and measures, are now clearly shown for users without an active subscription.

Note on Subscriptions:
We’ve decided to remove the monthly subscription option. As we grow the Beat Note community, we’re focused on building with educators, content creators, and musicians excited to be part of the journey. NEW: Audio Export
You can now export your beat as an audio file to share or use in your own projects! Customize your export with the following options:
- Format: AAC (.m4a) or WAV (.wav)
- Tempo
- Count-In: 0, 1, or 2 measures
- Click Track Pulse: Off, Half, Quarter, 8th, 8th Triplet, 16th
- Sound: Click, Clave, or Digital

Audio exports include 1 second of silence at the start and end. Your settings are saved between launches (except tempo, which defaults to your current beat).

IMPROVEMENTS
- iPad Users: We’ve brought back the standard iOS tab bar to ensure a smooth experience with Beat Note's UX Playback Bar.
- Freemium Clarity: It’s now easier to see your measure limit if you’re not a subscriber, and the upgrade screen provides a clearer breakdown of limitations and Pro features.
- Rest Positioning: Better positioning for rests when using split drums/cymbals voicing. (Thanks, Damian!)

BUG FIXES
- Playback repeat type changes now take effect immediately.
- Fixed blurry notation and playhead glitches when rotating the iPad or zooming. (Thanks, Hinrich!)
