- Fixed a display issue so the status text is now fully visible beneath the system time.

Background Alarms
- Seizure alarms will now sound even when you background the app during a manual alert when monitoring is not active.

Seizure Diary & Calendar:
- A full seizure history is now available directly in the app. Browse by year or month, view color-coded event indicators, and tap any day to see a detailed timeline of detections, auras, and manual entries.
- Log seizures and auras you experienced outside of a detection. This includes type, duration, severity, level of awareness, and whether you had a warning aura beforehand.
- Classify automated detections as seizure, false positive, or unknown directly from the calendar. Add or edit clinical details on any event at any time.
- A dedicated "To Classify" queue surfaces all pending detections in one place.

Regulatory & Compliance:
- Unique Device Identifier (UDI) is now displayed in Settings.

Bug Fixes & Improvements:
- Resolved an issue where the calendar could display events in the wrong time slot after traveling across time zones
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur when rapidly switching between months
- General stability and performance improvements

Standalone Watch Support:
- Link any Apple Watch to EpiWatch without iPhone pairing. Generate a 6-digit code on your iPhone, enter it on the watch, and you're connected. Ideal for Family Setup watches, secondary devices, or providing monitoring for a loved one. Manage all linked devices and revoke access from the new Linked Devices screen in Settings.

Enhanced Safety Reliability:
- Improved GPS accuracy ensures your caregivers receive your precise location during emergencies
- Detection events are now captured immediately, even if you're unable to interact with your watch after a seizure

Accidental Alert Prevention:
- The Help button now requires a 2-second press-and-hold to activate, with visual and haptic feedback. This prevents false alarms while keeping emergency assistance instantly accessible.

Additional Improvements:
- New email confirmation step during signup reduces account setup issues
- Resolved authentication issues that could cause unexpected logouts on Apple Watch
- Fixed sensor validation timing to reduce sample tracking error messages

Bug Fixes & Stability:

Resolved Monitoring Initiation Issue: We fixed a bug that could occasionally cause the app to mistakenly determine that accelerometer data was unavailable, which would prevent the user from starting a monitoring session.

This update focuses on making the app more stable and reliable. We've fixed several bugs that could cause crashes and improved how the app checks its sensors to ensure everything is working correctly.

New Features & Improvements:
Improved Sensor Check: Before monitoring begins, the app now runs a quick check to make sure the Apple Watch's motion sensor is working properly. This helps ensure that seizure detection is as accurate as possible.

Bug Fixes & Stability:
Fewer Crashes During Monitoring: We fixed a major bug that could cause the app to crash while recording heart rate data. Your monitoring sessions should now be much more stable.

Smoother Login: We resolved an issue that could cause the app to crash or freeze when you were logging in.

IMPORTANT: This application has been renamed "EpiWatch Core" to prepare for the launch of a new, public version of the EpiWatch application.

To ensure your existing subscription transfers to our new billing system, existing users MUST log in to this updated version at least once. This will link your purchase history to your User ID.

New Features & Improvements:

- New Subscription System: Subscriptions are now managed by RevenueCat and are tied to your User ID, allowing them to sync and be used across multiple devices.

- Resend Verification Email: A button has been added to the login screen to request a new verification email if the original has expired.

- Offline Subscription Grace Period: A 3-day grace period is now provided for subscription renewals if your device is offline, preventing loss of access.

- Improved Error Messaging: Error messages during account creation are now specific and clear. Pre-monitoring warnings on the watch are also more accurate and context-aware.

- Added repeating haptic feedback on Apple Watch for seizure detection alerts: When the “Siren” setting is enabled, users will now feel distinct vibrations alongside the audible alarm, improving accessibility in noisy or silent environments.

Bug Fixes & Stability:

- Manual Alert Saving: Fixed a critical bug where new manual alerts ("auras") were overwriting previous ones instead of saving correctly.

- Pin Code Removed: The Pin Code feature has been removed to resolve issues that were causing users to be locked out of the app.

- Watch Off Wrist Disabled: This feature has been temporarily disabled to prevent a bug that was causing app crashes.

- Camera Prescription Upload: You can now use your device's camera to quickly and accurately upload a photo of your prescription during onboarding, fixing a bug where it kept going back to the photo picker.
