The latest major update focused on location accuracy and core reliability, resulting in a 2.0 star rating increase on Android. While the resolution of reported search and permission errors is positive, the low volume of total reviews prevents a definitive assessment of the update impact. The overall verdict remains neutral due to insufficient data.

This update makes Fire Danger Ratings more accurate and the app smoother to use.

◆ More accurate Fire Danger Ratings — we refined how ratings are calculated, especially during
long dry spells, so the numbers you rely on are more dependable.
◆ See today at a glance — a new Today summary on the weather screen shows the day's high and low
plus the peak fire danger expected today, alongside the current conditions.
◆ More weather choice — you can now choose OpenWeatherMap as an alternative weather source.
◆ Better location search — finding a place is faster and more accurate, with cleaner, more
consistent location names throughout the app.
◆ Smoother location handling — the app starts up more reliably, handles location permissions
more gracefully, and lets you jump straight to your recent locations.
◆ Refreshed weather icons — a cleaner, more consistent set of weather icons across every
weather source.
◆ Clear cached data — a new option in Settings to clear saved weather data and recent searches.
◆ Under the hood — performance, security, and stability improvements.
