Bug fixes.

I've added stochastic simulations to the living annuity calculator, allowing you to now see a range of possible results instead of just the expected outcome (essentially, the 25th, 50th, and 75th percentiles from hundreds of simulations). I've also added a "bear" and "bull" case to the deterministic calculator (-1% and +1% respectively) so that you can also appreciate the sensitivity of the expected results to different real return assumptions.

I've added an info button and payment schedule to the financial calculator tab and squashed some bugs!

I've add a financial calculator tab to the app to allow you to calculate financial values more accurately. You now have the ability to enter any four of the following, and calculate the fifth: the number of payment periods; interest rate per period; present value; future value; and the periodic payment.

Added a Living Annuity calculator, and made a couple of cosmetic changes.

A Living Annuity is a life wrapper that allows you to draw an income (within limits from 2.5% to 17.5%) from your savings annually. The question most people wonder about, is how much to draw, and how this will impact on how long their savings will last. This calculator will calculate this under certain assumptions, which includes the initial savings and income, along with an assumption for the rate of return expected on the investment. It therefore assumes that this rate of return is earned every year, whereas the reality is that investing is a risky enterprise and returns achieved are stochastic (random). There are many other complexities related to investing, so please use this as a tool to understand the relationship between the variables and assumptions, and not to make investing decisions. Always seek investment advice before investing.
