Fort Sumter: The Secession Crisis is a digital adaptation of a historical board game that simulates the events leading to the American Civil War. Players compete as Unionists or Secessionists using an area control mechanic to influence four crisis dimensions: Political, Secession, Public Opinion, and Armaments. The game utilizes a Card Driven Game (CDG) system to resolve conflicts over three rounds and a Final Crisis.
