Starting 11/25/2024, local number texting will no be longer offered (calls are not affected). To continue texting, add and register a Toll-Free number. This is due to an industry-wide effort to reduce spam messages that requires registering your business.

As a result of an industry-wide effort to reduce spam and fraud, business registration and verification is now required to use text messaging on FreedomVoice.  You will not be able to send or receive text messages until you register, but you can still make and receive calls. You will be prompted to register when tapping on the Text tab.

- Starting November, 8 2023, if you use your toll-free number for text messaging, the mobile carriers now require businesses to register to send text messages. This is an industry-wide requirement to help reduce unwanted spam messages. You'll be prompted to register when tapping on the Text tab. Your ability to send outbound text messages will be blocked unless you are registered. Your ability to receive texts/calls and make outbound calls are not affected by this. Register for free immediately to ensure uninterrupted business communication.
