- Song analyzer: ask what is going on in a passage and get an answer — the key it is really in, what each chord is doing (borrowed, a secondary dominant, or the b2 that makes a minor key Phrygian), why the notes from outside the key are there, and the scale to play over it, which it can put on the neck for you. It reads a bar, a selection, a section or the whole song; open it from the selection bar, from the section list or from the song settings. - Isolate a part and practice it: the editor crops down to the bars you are working on and the rest of the song is out of the way, so there is nothing to scroll past between two repetitions. Select bars and tap "Isolate", or press the bar readout and pick a section. - Guitar Pro import now lets you choose which tracks come in, and what each of them sounds like. - The tab editor and the player are faster, and dense songs no longer crackle during playback. Next: - Recorded samples for the synthesized instruments. - More lessons, and more depth in the existing ones. - Shared tabs.
