  1. v2.6.1iOS
We've fixed an issue with ftp test reminders and made some improvements to the performance of our app.
  2. v2.5.0iOS
FTP matters but w/Kg (watts per kilogram) is crucial to your real world performance.

In this release I am excited to be adding to the Tracker function so you can get better insights of your progress. Before your FTP test weigh yourself. After your test when you are journaling your test results, make sure to add in your weight (in Kg). As always, try to add as much detail as possible in the notes (food, hydration status, mood, sleep, etc.)

When you review the test entry you will now be able to see your FTP, but also your w/Kg and percentage improvement.

To get the best from this new feature make sure to weigh yourself immediately before starting your test, don't rely on your bodyweight yesterday or last week.

What your weight is doing is just as important as improving your bodies ability to express pure power. Seeing this data and % changes is an eye opener!
  3. v2.4.0iOS
In this update I have an added the possibility for you to add a lot more information about how and when you performed your test. This is important to enable you to replicate test conditions each time. And therefore be more effective in how you use FTP in your cycling training.

Also in this update you will find some improvements to the user interface that just smooths out using the app.

Happy cycling and as always, very grateful for your input with ideas and thoughts for future updates. (Contact me through the app). Finally if you can spare a moment to leave a review it is always hugely appreciated and helps other cyclists discover this app.
  4. v2.3.1iOS
In this update you will find an improved Menu tab that makes it easier to request new features and ask for support. Also if you are a triathlete or duathlete then you can discover other complimentary apps (Swimming and Running) to make those calculations easier too.
  5. v2.3.0iOS
    Updated for iOS 18
  6. v2.2.0iOS
In this release I have made some minor changes to the FTP log screen to show you when your next FTP assessment is due. Just makes life a little easier.
This is driven by the testing interval that you have set in the Settings, but is independent of whether you have enabled Alert Reminders for your next test.
The default value is six weeks.

Thanks for the feature requests you have sent, and of course for buying my Apps. This is very much appreciated and lets me carry on developing Cycling Calc to be the best app in its genre.
  7. v2.1.0iOS
In this release I have added the facility to set a reminder for your next FTP test. Because you wouldn't want to forget! Aimed at the self coached cyclists and those that perhaps don't use a written structured training plan. You can find this new feature in the settings tab and you will need to authorise the app to send you notifications.

Opinions vary on how frequently to re-test your FTP. However most Coaches can agree that the answer is between 4 weekly and 8 weekly... I recommend 6 weekly to my athletes.

    Other updates:
    - Minor refinements to the User Interface in Settings Screen
    - Performance improvements under the hood
  8. v2.0.0iOS
In this release I have added an FTP Tracking function that lets you record the test result (FTP Power), when you did the test and (importantly) if it was indoors or outdoors. This makes seeing trends in your power much easier and also lets you store your data independently of the subscription platforms.

Also in this release I have squashed two minor bugs under the hood. Made some improvements to the Apps User Interface and also improved its design on iPad.
