 We’ve been polishing the engine behind Goodjob to make shifts, timesheets, and payments smoother for everyone.
Here’s what’s new:
• Hello Ontario!
 Goodjob is expanding and adapting to the Ontario market. New opportunities ahead.
• Easier payments for businesses
 Companies can now pay invoices directly by credit card. Faster, simpler, everyone’s happier.
• Smarter timesheet management
 We now detect conflicts between timesheets so issues can be spotted (and fixed) faster. Less confusion, smoother billing.
• Better bilingual experience
 Tasks and parts of the app are now clearer in English and French. Because good communication matters.
• Lots of fixes and improvements
 We squashed a few sneaky bugs and improved reliability around shifts, cancellations, and timesheets.

Version 4.6 – Better Shift Series Management & Improved Experience
This release enhances long-term shift management for businesses and adds new worker-related information, while refining the overall user experience.

New Features

- Create a shift series: Businesses can now create recurring shift series (for example: every Monday, or Monday to Friday over several weeks) in a single action, instead of creating each shift individually.

- Assign the same worker to a full shift series: Companies can now assign a single worker to an entire long-term shift series in one step, rather than shift by shift. Perfect for recurring mandates with the same worker.

- Bulk editing of a shift series: It is now possible to update an entire shift series at once (schedule, location, etc.), reducing errors and administration time when changes affect multiple dates.

- Managing cancellations within a series: When a worker withdraws from a shift that is part of a series, the shift returns to “awaiting applicants” but is automatically detached from the series. This allows businesses to replace only the affected shift without impacting the rest of the series.

UX/UI Improvements

- Refinements to several screens related to shift series management.
- Clearer labels and wording to make actions easier to understand.
- Minor visual improvements and adjustments for smoother navigation.
