Introducing Apple Health integration. iOS users can now link their Hammerhead account to their Apple Health account so that rides logged on Karoo sync to Apple Health.
- Riders can connect their Apple Health account by going to the Companion App settings and selecting Apple Health Data.
- Please note that Apple Health relies on the Companion App to sync activities, so riders must have the app open to initiate the sync.

We’ve added an account verification step on Karoo sign-in for unverified Hammerhead accounts.

We fixed an issue where transfers of content (pin, route, etc.) from iOS to the Companion App were failing after a first successful transfer.

Introducing live tracking auto-share
 - Riders can now add email contacts to automatically receive a live tracking link when a ride starts. Auto-share can be setup via the Companion App settings. This is available for both new Karoo and K2. Live tracking requires internet connectivity via Companion App or hotspot/SIM card.
 - We've added the ability to share a 24-hour link. This link will expire after 24 hours.
 - We've added the ability to toggle live tracking on/off via the Companion App.

We added a message to add Karoo and show which account a user is signed into, when you have not paired a device to the companion app.

We fixed an issue which caused workouts with '&' in the file name to not be upload via iOS.

- We fixed a bug that caused the current location button to not work when building a route in the Companion App.
- We fixed a bug that caused external links to not open from the Companion App.
- We fixed a bug that caused routes shared directly from Google Maps to the Companion App to fail.

You can now sideload a third-party app using an APK file through the Companion App (new Karoo only). Previously this was limited to URL’s with a downloadable APK link. Long press an APK file to initiate sharing through the app for easy installation on Karoo.

We added the ability to see your rides, routes and workouts in the Companion App. The new functionality embeds Hammerhead Dashboard data in the app to easily plan and view your ride.

We added the ability for riders to login to the Companion App using SRAM SSO.

We made a number of performance improvements and optimizations.

- We have added the ability to see your last known battery status of Karoo in the Companion App.
- We have made UX improvement to the delete account flow in the Companion Apps to prevent users from inadvertently deleting their Hammerhead account.
- We fixed an issue where you could not remove all Karoo’s from your devices list in the Companion app.

- Various under-the-hood improvements.

- We’ve added a brief tour to introduce Companion App features to new Karoo users.
- We’ve fixed an issue where sharing Google Maps locations with non-ASCII characters in the name would prevent ride upload, route sync, and more from working between the Companion App and Karoo.
