Original release notes
VERSION 2.0.0 READY FOR iOS 27 Heart rate zones now come from the zones your device is actually set to, instead of being rebuilt from the hardest heartbeat on record, and time in each zone is read from the recording itself - so zones, training focus and intensity match what your watch showed. Recovery HRV (RMSSD), the figure recovery is usually judged by, appears beside the variability already there: the heart report, the night's chart in Sleep, and the export. The two are never merged - they are not the same number. Menopause state and bleeding after menopause are now kept in the Health app, existing profiles migrated once. Reports say so when Health only lets them read part of the period on screen, naming the first date they can reach. A report too large for the on-device model can be summarized on Private Cloud Compute - off by default, since it moves health data off the device. WORKOUTS, REBUILT Every session reads as a set of answers - how fast, how hard, how you moved, in what conditions - with a chart of how your pace held start to finish and the route coloured by speed. Sessions that used to show one or two heart readings now plot their whole trace, and the chart stops where your watch stopped measuring instead of crossing it. Each sport has its own figures: cadence and ground contact on foot, power on the bike, lengths, strokes and SWOLF in the pool. A TRAINING PLAN OF YOUR OWN Build a plan from your recent training: a set number of sessions a week, an aerobic base, or a distance. Plans combine running, walking, cycling, swimming and strength, indoors or outdoors, adjust themselves after each week closes, and send the next seven days to the Workout app on Apple Watch. A session can be moved to another day, and the plan has widgets on iPhone, the Lock Screen, the watch face and a page in the Watch app. Four weeks with one sport is free; longer blocks and more sports are Premium. Conservative limits can reduce intensity, progression or impact using health information you recorded; this is wellness guidance, not medical advice. THREE NEW REPORTS Symptoms covers all 39 types the Health app stores, for everyone and not only alongside cycle or pregnancy tracking, with a start time, duration, intensity and a note. State of Mind adds a one-tap check-in on Apple's own scale, the feelings and parts of life behind it, and PHQ-9 and GAD-7 results a doct…
