* Smartphone mode supported when connecting the latest generation Canon cameras over Wi-Fi. It is now the recommended mode because using EOS Utility mode causes frequent random disconnect. That does not occur when the camera is in smartphone mode. If your camera is 5D Mk IV, 80D, or other recent Canon body, and you were experiencing disconnects when using Wi-Fi, you should switch to Smartphone mode in the camera body menu.
