Original release notes
OBD-II Scanner Support Connect a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi OBD-II adapter and get real diagnostics straight from your car's computer. Check Engine light with a plain-language explanation, emissions readiness monitors, live sensor data (RPM, coolant temperature, fuel level, battery voltage, and more), freeze-frame snapshots showing exactly what was happening when a trouble code was set, and ECU details like calibration ID and VIN. Tap any trouble code for an AI-powered explanation of what it actually means for your car. Trip Reports The Trips tab now has a Reports button with real charts: total trips, distance, and time for the period you pick — this month, 3 months, 6 months, or all time — a distance trend chart, and a breakdown by trip category (business, personal, medical, charity), so you always know where your miles went. Smoother First Run New users now get a proper welcome flow that explains each permission before asking for it, walks through your preferences, and gets your first car added right away. CarPlay Reliability Trip tracking now arms itself automatically the moment you connect to CarPlay, even if you haven't opened HiAuto on your phone first. Several fixes to automatic trip start and stop make tracking more accurate and recover cleanly from interrupted drives. Thanks for driving with HiAuto — keep the feedback coming.
