You’ll see content that reflects what you’re listening to, the plans you’re part of, and where you left off.

We’ve redesigned Up Next to make it more prominent on the Home screen. It has a new larger layout. You can now tap Play All to listen through your plans, or tap the header to view and download them all.

Keep Listening has moved to the Home screen so you can quickly resume anything you haven’t finished.

Your own Scripture playlists have moved to the Home screen too so you can access them faster. You can still find them on the Me screen, as well.

## New Stat: Active Days
On the Me page, you'll now see a new stat: Active Days. Toggle between This Week, This Month, and All Time to see how many days you've been active on Dwell.

Let Scripture fill your home—hands-free.

With Alexa, you can:

  - Open Dwell using simple voice commands
  - Play Scripture, listening plans, and devotionals
  - Listen while cooking, cleaning, or moving through your day

Also, audiobooks now always resume from where you left off, and you'll now see a bookmark indicator showing your current chapter.

Lastly, we've also reorganized the settings screen to make things easier to find.

There’s so much more unfolding in 2026, and we can't wait to share it with you.

With Alexa, you can:

  - Open Dwell using simple voice commands

#Offline Listening: Now Smarter and More Seamless

We’ve made a number of improvements to make offline listening more intuitive and reliable. Whether you’re offline or just dealing with spotty service on your commute, Dwell now handles downloads more consistently and intelligently.

Here’s what’s new:

    - Playing your downloads or adding them to your queue will always play the downloaded version—whether you’re online or offline.

    - You’ll get a clear warning if you’re offline or if a change in your preferences will cause Dwell to stream audio instead of playing from downloads.

    - You’ll now see clearer alerts when interacting with the app while offline—whether you’re trying to change music, preview audio, download content, or load something unavailable.

    - The player now shows a download icon next to any downloaded track.

    - Downloads now include more detail, like voice(s), translation(s), and scripture transitions.

    - In Read mode, scrolling up or down will now move to the next or previous Scripture Book (not just “See all…”).

    - Listen to Dwell Kids Content with Yoto — This is a DIY-style integration: parents can create their own Yoto cards from select Dwell Kids content, like the Dwell Kids Daily, giving parents access to biblically enriching audio—screen-free.

Spoken References When Scripture Transitions:

When listening to playlists, plan days with multiple tracks, or a book of the Bible, Dwell will now audibly announce the Scripture reference at each context switch.

This enhancement makes it easier than ever to stay oriented while you listen, helping you know exactly which passage is being read throughout your experience.

To enable this feature, go to the Options menu in the Dwell player and choose “Spoken” under Scripture Transitions.

Also included in this update: CarPlay improvements, layout tweaks, bug fixes, and other general enhancements to make your Dwell experience even better.

This update brings an exciting reimagining to the Books of the Bible showcase screen! Previously, you could only access a simple list of chapters for each book. Now, each book of the Bible is a central hub, giving you not just easy access to its chapters but also all related content available in Dwell. Love Romans? Tap the book to explore everything Dwell has to offer—far beyond just the chapters. This includes:
