Many of my dear users looked for help, since they didn't know how to add a custom sound. Now, I believe, their problem is solved once and forever - I added "+" button to Sounds tab, making this process much more obvious and straightforward. Also, other ways of file import was tested and fixed. Other fixes and improves include: - Fix bug when start button on watchOS was cut. - Fix timer cancellation in Smart Stack on watchOS. - Fix banners layout issues. - Now you'll hear timer sound even in Settings tab. - Fix bug when sound in iOS notification wasn't playing. - Added more languages!
- v4.2iOS
Dear customers and users, I return to work on this project! Thanks for all the feedback! It was summarized and I'm fixing the most popular problems first. iOS: - Added new settings: -- Prevent Lock Screen. If ON, the screen will be up while the timer is running. -- Shake to Start (former Kitchen Mode) - now it's OFF by default. - Google Analytics removed. No more tracking! It wasn't very useful, anyway. Watch: - Vibration selection menu is now a second page, instead of the deprecated Force Touch menu. - Fixed notification UI.
- v4.1iOS
Fix a bug when the Cancel button in a notification wasn't working.
- v4.0iOS
Update!!! Finally, I find a time to fix most of the accumulated bugs and make several improvements. Most important are: - watchOS: Heart rate sensor isn't used anymore - iOS: Files support - iOS: Dark color scheme Thank you for your reviews and patience!
- v3.2iOS
- Change the workout type to "walking" to minimise impact on Move and Exercise rings in Activity app. - Remove SocialKarama banner from the bottom. (Nobody uses that app anyway). Dear users! I apologise for missing for quite a long time. I was working on another project. Now I finally returned to Periodic Timer. I received many reports from you about the problem when the timer writes data to Health and Activity apps as if you were exercising. I spend a lot of time trying to find a way to fix it, but it seems to be impossible. We need the Workout Mode to allow Periodic Timer to run in the background, Health records all this data automatically when and the Workout Mode is on. And the data can't be deleted because apps can only write to Health.
- v3.1iOS
- Fixed crashes. - Improved iPhone X UI. - Fixed "Write a review" link. - Improved description. - Added ring sound "30 Sec Alert" (+ version only). Please, support the app with stars!
- v3.0iOS
Dear users! Thank you for all your feedback, reviews and suggestions. This update fixes most common problems and introduces many new features. iOS: - Introduced settings (as many users wanted). - Added Quick Start actions (require 3D Touch support). - Added "Dirty Hands Mode". You can start/cancel the timer by just shaking the device without touching the screen. - Introduced longer intervals: days & hours (+ version only). - Bigger fonts for timer. - Added a bird sound: Great Tit (+ version only). - Long alert sound now will be interrupted if you cancel the timer. - Added Pause button to the notifications. - User will be asked to allow notifications while pushing the start button, not after opening the app. I hope, this will prevent common misunderstanding. - The UI adopted to take maximum advantage from different screen sizes. - Minimum required iOS version raised to 9.3. watchOS: - Added complications that allows you to start Periodic Timer right from the Apple Watch face. - Vibration duration settings (+ version only). - Ability to select the hours (+ version only). - Fixed the app name localization problem. - Minimum required watchOS version raised to 3.2. General: - Added creeping line for displaying elapsed time within an interval. - Added countdown mode. Tap the displayed time to switch modes. - New simple support page. You still can ask your questions in the FB group (http://www.facebook.com/groups/PeriodicTimer). - The source code migrated to Swift for better stability, speed and flexibility in the future. If you like this update, don't forget to support Periodic Timer with a review!
