Current Momentum
v1.5
Version 1.5 is a major update introducing four new features alongside significant improvements to existing ones. WEATHER SENSITIVITY TAB A new tab (swipe left from Today) monitors barometric pressure and temperature in real-time using WeatherKit and the iPhone's built-in barometer. A 3-hour pressure drop rate gives a green, yellow or red PEM risk rating. A 7-day calendar grid shows upcoming risk days at a glance, and a 24-hour sparkline tracks pressure and temperature trends. The 3-day forecast now adjusts capacity recommendations based on weather risk. BREATHING SPACE A full-screen breathing exercise based on the physiological sigh (Balban et al., 2023). Double inhale, hold, long exhale — shown to activate the vagus nerve and support autonomic recovery. The app invites you to open Breathing Space when HRV is low, but it can also be opened manually at any time. HEALTH → AI Export a full year of Apple Health data as a structured CSV file, ready for analysis in ChatGPT or Claude. Includes HRV, resting heart rate, sleep staging, steps, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, AFib classification, gait metrics and more — alongside your daily capacity ratings from PaceME. Optional README and nine evidence-based analysis prompts can be included in the export. NOTIFICATIONS Automatic alerts when HRV is low (capped at one per day) and when a significant pressure drop is forecast overnight (capped at one per day). Notification thresholds follow your sensitivity settings. READINESS CHECK IMPROVEMENTS The Readiness Check now opens as a full-screen view with HRV and sleep barriers pre-filled from HealthKit. Layout and sizing have been improved for easier use on difficult days. SETTINGS Weather sensitivity thresholds (pressure and temperature) are now user-adjustable. Celsius and Fahrenheit supported. An info popup explains the clinical relevance of each threshold for ME/CFS and related conditions. Weather sensitivity can now be disabled entirely for users who are not weather sensitive. ICLOUD SYNC Daily logs, weather snapshots and breathing session records now sync automatically across devices via iCloud.
