We have updated the app to play audio regardless of the ringer mute switch position.
The video list will now check for updates weekly instead of monthly.
Some cosmetic changes were made for both iPhone and iPad.

1.  This app has been written from the ground up with a modern fresh look and interface. The Life Essentials QR Reader was long overdue for an update. Things were not working as they should due to many operating system changes over time. Sorry for the delay!

2. The QR scanner works faster and better than ever before.

3. The "Principle Finder" from the Life Essentials Study Bible is now built into the app so you can search for principles by topic or keyword.

4. The two-minute audio podcast 'Bible Principles with Dr. Gene Getz' is built-in.

5. Read the weekly "A Word from Gene" blog within the app and sign up to get it in your inbox.

6. Would you like to buy additional Bibles for your family or friends?  Maybe you have given yours away or let somebody borrow it and it just hasn't been returned (this really happens)!  You can purchase additional Bibles via the "Store" button.  Proceeds from purchases go into our ministry and help us get Bibles to those who cannot afford them.  Plus, at our site, you have the option to have your Bible signed and personalized by Gene Getz.
