It is a truth universally acknowledged that a bookworm in possession of an iPhone must be in want of a Litsy update. New in 1.9: updated image editor and a fix for iOS 11 keyboards!
- v1.8iOS
In philosophy, or religion, or ethics, or politics, two and two might make five, but when our developer was busy fixing bugs and adding find-a-Litsy-friend from contacts on your phone, two and two had to make four.
- v1.7.3iOS
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of push notifications, it was the epoch of new sticker packs, it was the season of being able to edit a comment, it was the spring of accessibility options for voiceover and text sizing, it was the winter of a cool feature to swipe left on posts to get book details, we had everything before us with this new iOS release, including an ability to discover and follow users from hashtag and book profile pages - in short, the period was, in the superlative degree, bookishly awesome.
- v1.7.2iOS

- v1.5.5iOS
Taking pictures misbehaves with os10. Also woes with logging in. So we decided to release again!
- v1.5.1iOS
It was many and many an update a go, In an app store by the sea, That we promised cleaner looks, Faster loading, new tools, a better ability to see; And the Litsy team lived with no other thought Than to love and be loved by thee. So we quickened the speed and made Sticky headers — better scrolling for you and me. And we’ve changed the looks of Reviews, less green, More handsome, we hope you’ll agree; Copy a comment, refresh your page, We’ve squashed more bugs and set them free. For the moon never beams without bringing us dreams Of the future of beloved Litsy, And the stars never rise but we feel the bright eyes Of our book-crazed community.
- v1.4.1iOS
If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you’ll probably want to know is that you can now find me with a hashtag search, and read a whole summary about me, and stack me up in your stacks, and if that’s not enough you can suggest other books you might like more than me to the new Litsy Librarians, and find all those David Copperfield kind of books, but I don’t feel like going into it too much; you’ll have to download the update if you want to know the truth. In the first place, Litsy has these photos which will now save to perfect squares, and in the second place, the little square pictures can now be saved to your “camera roll,” but I won’t sneak around with what’s in there. That’s pretty personal. I can just tell you about this madman stuff that happened pretty recently with a storage issue, but now Litsy is taking it easy and there’s no more of that extra bulk. Oh, I just read this terrific book called Fahrenheit 451, in case you never heard of it. I liked it so much that I told Litsy all about it and they decided to change their character limit to 451 for their post. 300 character posts? Don’t even mention those to me anymore. But what really knocks me out is all the good stuff coming – push notifications, explore tools, a new rating system that lets you tell what’s phony and what’s not – every time Litsy does something pretty I can’t help but fall even more in love with it. It’s really something. I love it so much I could cry, I could stack all the books in the whole world, I could read into the next century or something. I don’t exactly know what I mean by that, but I mean it.

- v1.3.2iOS
First Developer: When shall we three meet again, in thunder, lightning or in rain? Second Developer: When the hurlyburly’s done, when the bugs are lost and none. Third Developer: That will be ere the set of sun. First Developer: Where the place? Second Developer: Upon the App Store! Third Developer: There our app emerges, free of stubborn crashes. All: Fair is foul, and foul is fair: go the the App Store and download there!
- v1.3.1iOS
There is a place where books make friends And there the updates begin, And there the photos are high-res and bright, And there your thumbs can double tap to like, And there the @mentions will now take flight And a new search by ISBN. Let us leave this place where the loading is slow Your live stream of books will coast. For now there is a new version for iPads to go, where users can share out and edit their posts. Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And we'll go where the Litfluencers go, For the users, they read, and the App Store, they know The place where books make friends.

And as in an iPhone thought he stood, The iJabberwock, with bugs of shame, Came whiffling under Litsy's hood, And caused crashes as it came! One, two! One, two! and through and through Our vorpal developers gave the code quite a thwack! They left the bugs dead, and with a click and a clack, They submitted this release and went galumphing back. (In other words, plenty of bug fixes.)
- v1.2iOS
Alice was a little startled by seeing the Cheshire-Cat sitting on a bough of a tree a few yards off. The Cat only grinned when it saw her. "Cheshire-Puss," began Alice, rather timidly, "would you please tell me what's new with Litsy?" "In that direction," waving the right paw 'round the iPhone, "are better stacking, a new currently reading status and improved comments, and in that direction," waving the other paw on the screen, "are faster image loading, better book search, and a number of mad performance improvements." "That's very curious!" said Alice. "I think I may as well go on Litsy at once."
- v1.1iOS
ONCE upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,-- I found a quote, started clapping, pulled out my phone and started tapping, As if Litsy was my way of clapping, clapping about books I adore. “But what’s new,” I muttered, “in this release, for all these books that I adore?” - @mentions to tag people in comments - Easier search - Better profile views - A ton of usability enhancements - More image editing options Only this, and nothing more.
