The latest major update introduces functional improvements to camera naming, data synchronization, and history persistence. As the release is recent and lacks sufficient post-launch window analysis, the impact remains neutral. Future assessments will determine if these changes improve the historical baseline ratings of 4.5 on iOS and 4.2 on Android.

Cameras now appear as soon as you finish linking, with the name you gave them in the Ring app — not only after they have seen something.

The app refreshes on its own: new deliveries and mailbox visits appear without pulling to refresh.

Pausing a camera in the Ring app no longer clears its history.
