This is a small update that fixes rendering issues with the latest version of macOS.

- Fix instance response parsing that caused issues with Friendica instances
- Fix instance response parsing that caused issues handling attachments without preview images
- Fix issue with local timeline using filters for the home timeline

This update fixes a crash that some users were experiencing after updating to 1.3.6. Otherwise this release is identical to 1.3.6 with several tweaks and improvements:
- Local filters are now fully supported. Mastonaut will hide toots that match non-permanent filters, and you can manage your filters from the Mastonaut Preferences window, under the Account tab.
- Custom toot length: You can now set a per-account custom toot length limit from the Mastonaut Preferences window, under the Account tab. Your instance server will still reject toots longer than its length limit. This preference is made specifically for users with accounts in instances that have a non-standard toot length limit.
- Add option to reload the contents of a column (useful if your connection is choppy or when the toot streaming is not working properly).
- Fixed bug that caused a glitch to happen when hiding the sidebar while on full-screen.
- Tweaked performance when rendering lots of animated emoji, especially in the toot composer emoji picker.
- Fix issue that could cause certain instances not to be recognized in the when adding an account.

This update brings a bunch of new features and improvements to Mastonaut!

* New: keyboard navigation – Use your keyboard to navigate around Mastonaut, favorite, boost, reply to toots, and more.
* New: User filters support – Mastonaut will now respect the filters you've setup (the ability to modify filters from Mastonaut will come soon)
* Improved: Mastonaut now renders animated emoji much more efficiently (no more hogging CPU)
* Fixed: Mastonaut no longer looks weird if it was launched on dark mode, and then the system was transitioned to light mode.
* Fixed: Using Mastonaut on multiple Macs should no longer produce warnings that an account needs re-authentication
* Fixed: Lots of small UI glitches and other bugs

This update brings many small changes and improvements to Mastonaut:
* Toots now display if they're part of a thread
* Animated attachments now loop automatically in the preview window, instead of only playing once
* Add new preference to auto-play video and animated attachments
* The composer window now automatically inserts Zero-Width-Space characters between custom emojis, so they render properly without spaces between them (you can turn this feature off)
* Improve reliability of even sockets, meaning Mastonaut should better keep updating your timeline, including after your Mac comes back from sleep
* Limits the amount of text that can be displayed in a toot while in the timeline. To see the full contents, you can click the "show entire contents"
* When showing poll results, the total votes count is now visible

Bug fixes:
* The composer should now count characters exactly like the Mastodon web client does
* Improve scrolling speed by using a different attachment image resize method
* Fix how Mastonaut behaves on systems with multiple displays
* Fix crash when re-opening the custom emoji picker when there's text in the filter/search text box
* Fix some links not working when they have an ampersand character in the query part
* Always show the attachment and the composer windows over the Mastonaut window that was clicked to show it
* Fix the sidebar divider sometimes using the wrong dark/light style

This patch updates brings a bunch of bug fixes:

* Dramatically improve reliability of events socket. This means Mastonaut is now a lot better at keeping itself connected to your instance and receiving status updates and notifications.
* Prevent timelines from scrolling when a new status arrives but you're not near the top. If you're not *at* the top but just close enough, it might still happen. Fine tuning of this behavior should come in future updates.
* Fix mentions when redrafting a status, should now bring back the full handle for all accounts that need it.
* Fix issue where the mention autocomplete window could prevent typing into the composer.
* Fix issue that broke the titlebar controls when relaunching the app with windows in full-screen.
* Fix localization issue in authorization error dialog.

This next release of Mastonaut comes packed with new features and improvements.

* Notifications: Mastonaut will show notifications while running. You can configure which accounts receive notifications and when. Note: Mastonaut does not show notifications while it is closed.
* Share extension: You can now share webpages and images right from the share menu in other apps such as Safari, Photos, and Finder.
* Pinned toots are now shown on profiles.
* Saved tags: When browsing a tag on the sidebar it can be saved by clicking the bookmark button.
* Favorites: Browse your favorited toots, available from the Accounts menu.
* Sidebar now shows titles.

Bug fixes:
* Instances that use a different URL for accounts and for their webpage should now be fully supported.
* Fixed issue where account picker in welcome window would not update once an account was added.
* Fixed bug where typing into the mastodon emoji picker could cause a crash if autocorrect was applied.
* Fixed many visual issues that could make timelines look buggy.
* Changing accounts inside the toot composer when attachments are present will now re-upload the attachments to the newly selected instance.
* Added missing options to the context menu of profiles.
* Fixed sidebar navigation going into a bad state when going backwards and forwards several times.
* Mastonaut should now better handle access token expirations/revocations.
* Small visual fixes for macOS Catalina.

This patch release brings some improvements and bug fixes.

* Poll results can be reloaded from a new item in the toot's context menu.
* Tooltips are no longer shown on the whole toot when it has custom emoji, but only over the custom emoji themselves.
* Profile views now have a context menu with items to share/open the profile and to copy its url.

* Avoid displaying the sidebar outside the visible region of the screen.

This patch release brings fixes to several issues reported by users. Also, from now on authentication is done using the default browser in your Mac. This way you can use your password manager to login to your instance (and if you're already logged-in, authorization happens after a single click!)

Some bugs and crashes were fixed:
* Avoid inserting "Click to load more" buttons in places where it isn't needed
* Add preference to automatically pick first account when opening a new window
* Fix crash that could happen when several toots with images were visible in a row
* (Second attempt) Fix crash when custom emoji in SVG are used
* Sidebar now follows the “expand window” vs “contract columns” preference
* Fix links in profile meta fields not always being clickable

This patch release brings some small fixes to issues found by some users:

* Mastonaut's window are no longer required to join all spaces. To make sure this behavior is disabled in case you do not want it, right click the dock icon while Mastonaut is running, navigate to "Options" and select the option "None" under "Assign To".
* Fixed a crash that would sometimes happen when switching the currently active account.
* Fixed a crash when trying to parse SVG-based custom emoji.
* Fixed bug when handling links with fragments (that part after the # character).
