We are excited to announce that MathU RPN now runs on macOS as well as iOS!  Both Intel and Apple Silicon is supported for macOS.   The 4.1.3 release fixes a few minor bugs I found after I released 4.1.0.

Keyboard support: An attached external keyboard can be used with the calculator to access the functions (type of name on the top if a button).  Tap the Key Help button to see what strings will work to "press" a button on the keypad.

MathU 3.0 supports iOS 5.1.1 or higher (including iOS 8).

MathU RPN 2.2.2 is a bug fix release:

- A bug was fixed that caused the wrong Y register value to display after a CLX (when "Show More Stack" is on)
- A bug was fixed in the DATE function that affected results near the first day of the month.
- A bug was fixed where the settings were not saved when terminated via the multi-tasking panel.

Fix bug in DATE function

MathU RPN 2.2 adds the following features:

- Compatibility with iOS 4 and iPhone 4
- Add a preference to lock the orientation of the calculator (portrait or landscape)
- High resolution keypad for the retina display on iPhone 4
- Support for multitasking under iOS 4

MathU RPN 2.1 adds support for copy and paste.  Double tap the displayed number to copy or paste it.

The update also includes a bug fix for the AMORT function when computing amortization from the perspective of the bank.

 MathU RPN 2.1 requires iPhone OS 3.0 or higher.

MathU RPN 2.0 contains many major improvements to the calculator.  Eighteen new functions have been added, some of the existing functions have been made more accessible and the display has been improved.

The update makes MathU RPN 2.0 a better programmer's calculator.  The A-F keys are available right up front for easy entry in HEX mode and seven new functions for working with integers have been added.

MathU RPN 2.0 is also a better financial calculator.  There are new functions for computing mortgage amortization and cash flow computations like IRR and NPV, as well as functions for working with dates.  Many of the existing financial functions have been extended to handle odd periods (conforming to the same conventions as the HP-12C).

The scientific side of MathU RPN has also been improved by adding functions for linear regression as well as computing the percent of total.

In particular, improvements in this update include:

o  A two line display option so you can see more of the stack.

o  Date functions to compute the day of the week, days between dates, and a date in the future.

o  Linear regression functions to compute an estimated y or x value along a fitted line.

o  Bit manipulation functions to shift, mask and compute the number of bits in the integer representation of a number.

o  Direct access to A-F in HEX mode for easy number entry.  The A-F keys replace the financial functions on the keypad when a non-decimal number base is being used.

o  Improved display of HEX, OCT, BIN numbers with bit position subscripts for easy interpretation.  Very long binary numbers wrap over two lines when they get too big.

o  Direct access to storage registers 10-19 via the  STO .0 through  STO .9.

o  Extensions to the financial functions to handle odd period calculations.  MathU RPN now conforms to the same conventions as those used on the HP-12C.

o  An extension to the random number function RAND to compute random integers when the calculator is in HEX, OCT or BIN mode.  In decimal DEC mode, RAND generates a random real value between 0.0 and 1.0.

o  A new preference to choose between a single line display or the two line display (Show More Stack) and a preference to choose the date format (M.DY vs D.MY).

o  [Bug fix] Word size setting in the preferences now supports the full 48 bits.

Improvements in MathU RPN 1.2:

- Support storage register arithmetic with
  financial functions (STO + PMT)

- Use anti-aliased fonts for button and
  function labels

- Reposition shift buttons in landscape mode
  to make them easier to use

- Seed RAND function with current time so that
  the sequence of numbers is always different
