New in 1.4:
• Miles now speaks Spanish, German, French and Polish. It follows your iPhone's language, and dates and numbers follow your region.
• Siri. Ask for your mileage, what's due, when a service is due, your fuel economy, what you've spent or recalls, update your mileage, or log a service, no exact words needed. Say "Miles" somewhere in the sentence, like "What's my mileage in Miles". "Ask Miles" takes any question about your car.
• Units per car. Each car uses miles or kilometers and gallons or liters, and a kilometer car shows fuel economy in L/100 km or km/L. Miles asks when you add a car outside the US. Changing a car's units never converts what you've logged.
• Currency. Miles sets it from your region, and you can change it in Settings ▸ Garage. Only the symbol changes. Amounts are never converted.
• Vehicle market. A new setting in Settings ▸ Garage decides which country's car rules Miles uses, separate from your phone's language.
• Safety recalls. NHTSA only covers US cars, so recall checks now show for US cars instead of an all-clear everywhere else.
• Paperwork follows the car's market. New cars outside the US no longer start with US inspection and registration reminders. Cars in the UK get MOT and vehicle tax reminders, cars in Germany the HU, and cars in Poland the technical inspection and OC insurance. New diesel cars skip spark plugs.
• Car not in the list? Type the make and model yourself.
• Receipt and VIN scanning read European, Brazilian and Japanese formats, like 1.234,56 € or 26.09.2026.
• CSV import reads comma decimals, semicolon and tab files, Thai and Japanese calendars, and Spanish, German, French and Polish column names.
• Screens fit better at the largest text sizes.
Plus bug fixes and reliability improvements.
