Original release notes

Version 3.0 is a complete rebuild, from the ground up.

NEW NAME
Movie Free is now Movie Diary. Same app, same developer, same library — the name just says what it does.

NEW — YOUR LIBRARY
Keep three shelves — Watchlist, Watched and Favourites. Score anything out of 10 and write your own note. Everything stays on your device.

NEW — FOR YOU
Recommendations built from the scores you give, ranked against your own taste and explained in plain language, so you can see why each pick is there.

NEW — INSIGHTS
Hours watched, your top genres, how your taste spreads across the decades, and how your scores compare with everyone else's.

NEW — COLLECTIONS
Eight hand-written collections, chosen and written up by us.

REBUILT
• Rewritten for modern iPhone and iPad, including full dark mode
• Trending added alongside Now Playing, Popular and Upcoming
• Faster search across films, series and people
• Trailers, full cast and crew on every detail page
• Share anything you have rated

Thanks for sticking with Movie Diary.
