Key takeaways for My Horoscope - Daily Astrology
Where is it heading?
The lifestyle astrology market is consolidating around apps with active live-ops and frequent content refreshes. My Horoscope remains in a maintenance-mode posture that leaves it exposed to churn, and the lack of technical stability will continue to erode the user base until the core access issues are resolved.
- The lack of updates for over six years prevents the app from addressing critical loading failures, which accelerates user churn into the next quarter.
- Persistent subscription restoration failures drive negative sentiment and refund requests, which compounds the risk of store-level enforcement actions.
The SWOT
- Deep astrological content library provides granular birth chart and synastry reports
- Calming interface design and audio atmosphere sustain engagement for active users
- Implementation of a freemium model could expand the top-of-funnel conversion by allowing basic horoscope access
- Expansion of location databases to include missing regions would resolve birth chart generation errors
