Location permissions are handled naturally as part of the flow, and if anything needs attention, a friendly notice guides you through it so no important step is missed. Once you're done, recording starts automatically — no extra switches to flip. Your everyday journeys are quietly captured from day one.

The Regions screen has been completely redesigned with a fresh, card-based layout!

The region list now features beautiful cards with integrated maps, replacing the previous plain list. You can see each region's approximate location and range at a glance — just scroll through and instantly recognize where your regions are set up.

[Status at a Glance]
Actively monitored regions show a green badge, and each card displays a record-count capsule. Whether you manage a handful or dozens of regions, you can quickly scan their status without opening each one.

[Easier Access to Controls]
Tap the menu button on any card to toggle monitoring, adjust name replacement, or delete. You can also long-press a card to bring up the same options — whichever way feels most natural to you.

[Optimized Colors for Dark Mode]
The accent color has been redesigned specifically for dark backgrounds. Buttons, links, and navigation elements now stand out clearly, reducing eye strain during extended use. Light Mode colors have been fine-tuned as well, ensuring a beautiful look in any lighting.

The settings screen opened from the Footsteps Controller would close on its own whenever you changed an option. Now it stays open so you can adjust multiple settings at once.

Hidden Controller — Improved
Hiding the Footsteps Controller no longer leaves an empty space behind.

"Record Footsteps" Bar — Layout Fix
We've refined the layout of the "Record Footsteps" bar at the bottom of the screen. The text, icons, and toggle inside the bar are now properly centered, fixing a subtle alignment issue where the content appeared slightly shifted upward. The bar now looks cleaner and more polished in the Liquid Glass environment.
