- v14.2.4iOS

- v14.0iOS
There's a fun new "Virtual Coin" option in the coin menu. Shake your device, the coins flip, and you generate your line. And we now have a "Clear" Button for the question box thanks to a suggestion from a user. Such a simple and seemingly obvious improvement that I somehow did not think of in the 8 years I've been developing this app. I also eliminated the confusing 'push-down' effect which made it appear to some new users that hexagrams were being generated top-down. There were many other little tweaks and bug fixes, including a doozy found by a user who was numbering their questions. That inadvertently triggered the "look up by notation" feature. That's the one where you can type 11.23 into the question box and see hexagram 11, Peace, with changing lines in the second and third place. It's a great research feature, and now it only triggers when a properly formatted number is entered. Finally, I added a link to buy me a coffee, cuz I love coffee, and a kind user who bought me several told me to.
- v12.4iOS
Per popular request, when you cast a hexagram the bottom line now appears in a fixed position, with new lines appearing above and eliminating the confusing 'push-down' effect. I had many new users write thinking I was generating hexagrams from the top down, so thank you for helping me clear this up. Bunch of other little tweaks and bug fixes, including a doozy found by a user who was numbering their questions. That inadvertantly triggered the "look up by notation" feature. That's the one where you can type 11.23 into the question box and see hexagram 11, Peace, with changing lines in the second and third place. It's a great research feature, and now it only triggers when a properly formatted number is entered. Among the features you will NOT find is the ability to lock your journal with a password. Sorry, those of you who requested this one, try as I might I could not find a way to ensure all three of my requirements for this feature could be implemented. I wanted to make sure 1. It was REALLY secure, 2. It had a way to get your journal back if you forgot your password and 3. It wouldn't create a support burden that would overwhelm my little just-me support team. Honestly, I think device security is your best bet for keeping your journal from prying eyes.
- v12.3iOS
You can now search the entire library of Hexagram and changing line text from a search box in the Library. For users of the Baynes translation, the missing text for Hexagram 32, and many typos, have been fixed. Watch support may be restored in future releases.

Enhanced Vogon poetry.
- v4.0.6iOS
This major upgrade adds all the functionality users said they wanted in an I-Ching app: -Journal Backup: you can now email your journal to yourself, store it someplace safe, and append journals from one device to another. Journal data can be pasted into a web page that will replicate your in-app journal as a saveable html page. -Coin Menu: Those who prefer to cast their own coins or stalks can build a hexagram line by line and then use the lookup menu for the reading. Handy for researching specific hexagram and line combinations too! -Trigram Lookup: at the bottom of the library screen there's a link to a trigram lookup engine for investigating particular combinations of Earth, Mountain, Lake, Water, Wind, Thunder, Fire, Heaven. If you're looking at a hexagram but don't know its number or name, this is the best way to find it. --iOS Share Sheet integration: you can now share your cast to any app configured for sharing on your device: make a reminder, add to your notes or reading list, send a link via Airdrop, or send a message to a friend using iOS messenger or your own 3rd party apps. In addition, there's a bunch of little tweaks and improvements: --The main reading screens all now scroll properly, without that sideways shimmy you saw in some screens on previous versions --Share buttons have been expanded and moved to the bottom of each reading screen for easier access --Shares via Social Media and Share Sheet now include an image of the primary hexagram screen --Modals now look and behave better --The significance of Hexagram 11 as a visual battlements reference and central metaphor is now fully correlated to Philip K. Dick's Man in the High Castle
