Incremental updates to the app that was ranked #1 in the App Store for several weeks in 2009, and again for a few days each in subsequent years.
New users get all app features, and do not have any in-app-purchase options.
Users who purchased older versions (v5.0 and earlier) in the last 15 years have an in-app-purchase option to obtain "Share" functionalty.

The #1 Finance app in 2009 has now been updated to work optimally with the latest iOS platform. What is new is
1) The ability to share economic graphs through social media, email, SMS, printouts etc. (available free with all new purchases, and available as an upgrade for existing customers)
2) Months of work to migrate the app from legacy iPhone platform APIs to modern APIs
3) Several other miscellaneous updates (e.g., new recession indicators)

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.

The Economy app was originally written for iOS2 and subsequently updated with new features and also updated for later iOS versions.
This free update is optimised for multiple iPhone and iPod Touch devices and it has been tested on devices ranging from an iPhone 4 device (running iOS 5.1.1) to an iPhone 7 Plus device (running iOS 10.1.1)

- App is now optimized for iOS7. The app will also work great on iOS5 and iOS6.

1. Thousands of new economic indicators for a total of around 45,000 economic indicators (primary focus continues to be the US, but the app also includes a few indicators each from more than a 100 other countries).

2 A powerful search engine that makes it easy to use partial (or full) keywords to search through the 45,000 economic indicators provided by the app.
(a) As an example, searching for seat or seattle will return all available economic indicators for the Seattle metro area.
(b) Searching for sea inc  will quickly return the per-capita income (inc keyword) for Seattle (sea keyword).

1. Updated app code to accommodate schema change in federal data (for two specific economic indicators)
