Original release notes
Smarter stop planning The app now keeps your route covered when your plans change — if you pick an earlier gas stop, we automatically check the rest of your trip and add a new stop if needed, so you're never left without a fuel option down the road. You'll see a friendly note when we do this, right on the card. Smoother trip planning experience Confirming stops now feels more natural — the screen follows along as you go, keeping the next stop's confirm button right where you need it. Once every stop is planned, you're brought back to the top for a full overview before you hit the road. A heads-up before you go If you're about to start navigation without a fuel stop planned, we'll let you know — so you can add one in a tap, or continue on your terms. Region-aware brand preferences Set your home region and see the fuel and food brands that actually matter where you live. Traveling somewhere new? Add that region too, and its local favorites show up right alongside your usual picks. More control over what shows up New toggles let you fine-tune your food and gas preferences — including sit-down restaurants, coffee shops, and now pizza as its own category. Warehouse club gas (Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's) and large-format travel stores can be included as food stops too, your call. A quicker start Getting set up is faster than ever — a streamlined first-run experience gets you straight to choosing your region and preferences, so you're ready to plan your first trip sooner. Clearer, friendlier preferences The Preferences screen has been reorganized for easier browsing, with clearer section headers and simpler language throughout — including a more intuitive way of describing your refuel settings. More transparency around ads A new Privacy section gives you visibility and control over ad-related data sharing, in line with the latest privacy standards.
