We’re introducing GHIN Challenges — virtual leaderboards at select courses created by your local Allied Golf Association. This update resolves an issue where users could get stuck in a Face ID login loop and includes other minor performance enhancements.

In this release, we made several enhancements and bug fixes to improve the GHIN app experience:

• Facial Recognition login to quickly and securely log in (on supported devices).
• Match Play scorecard enhancements allow users to view front-9, back-9, and overall results to easily track which team is ahead.
• We corrected how Playing Handicaps are calculated for Match Play games in the Handicap Calculator.

In this release, we resolved an Apple Watch GPS issue that was preventing Enhanced GPS golfers from using the GPS functionality on their watch. The root cause of the issue was background location services being disabled when opening the app.

In this release, we have made updates to manage notifications, subscriptions, and renewals for Enhanced GPS to meet compliance with app stores. We also included numerous bug fixes, including issues with hole-by-hole with stats scoring and resuming hole-by-hole scoring.

In this release, we introduced the ability for golfers to delete scores on the day of posting to prevent posting incorrect scores. Golfers can find the Delete Round button on their Round Summary screens until midnight of the day of posting. Note that in order to correct a deleted round the golfer needs to post a new score, and any stats tracked on deleted rounds will be lost.

In this release, we resolved issues causing app crashes during score posting, optimized the Apple Watch app by removing the Digital Crown interaction for changing holes, and increased stability for Enhanced GPS subscribers. Additionally, we added new Accessibility features to enhance usability for all golfers.
