I am thrilled to announce that Petey is now available for free! With this update, new users can access Petey by subscribing, using an API key, or unlocking the app with a single purchase. Furthermore, I have made it possible for new users to only unlock Petey for watchOS with a single purchase.

Petey was initially designed for watchOS, and the purchase price covered all usage costs on the Apple Watch.

However, Petey is now also available on iOS & iPadOS (and soon macOS), which has made the purchase price confusing. People without an Apple Watch were still required to pay for the app, which can be frustrating.

Those who have purchased Petey before can continue using the app as before - without any subscriptions for watchOS ever. This means Petey for watchOS will be free forever for you early users.

In addition, everyone gets a few free chats to try out the app, and this update also features a few bug fixes.
I hope this update will make Petey even more accessible and useful to everyone.
