You can now set the orientation of your Gradient lights. Great to re-orient your Gradient strip lights when you mounted them from right-to-left or top-to-bottom. Just tap a light card → Three dots (…) icon → Light settings → Orientation to match your situation!

You can now find your Automations in the Rooms and Zones they control. Adjust your wake-up times in the bedroom, start a timer in the kitchen while cooking, or create brand new Automations – all directly from the Rooms and Zones screens. - The Hue AI-powered assistant is now also available in Spanish, German, and Dutch! Ask for scene recommendations or generate brand-new ones, control your lights, and even create automations by simply explaining the behavior you want to see. All you have to do is type or record your voice in the AI chat. We're eager to hear your feedback! - You can now create a custom detection area to define which part of your wired camera view will turn on your lights. Go to Camera settings→Trigger lights→ Trigger area→Custom area. You can even choose whether the lights turn on for a person, vehicle, animal, or other motion. - Now you can choose the sound your Video doorbell makes, in addition to selecting the sound for your chime(s), giving you more control over how your doorbell greets your visitors. - As promised, we’re bringing support to migrate multiple bridges to a Bridge Pro. You can now select multiple bridges to be replaced while onboarding a new Bridge Pro or migrate additional ones at any point via Settings > Bridges. Migrate as many Bridges as needed, as long as your Bridge Pro still has enough capacity left. - Your Hue Secure Wired Camera can now detect the beeping sounds of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in your home. When an alarm is heard, you’ll receive an instant notification, and your hue lights will automatically turn on. Goto your camera settings and Detections section - You can now see daily peak activity of your Security devices under Insights on the Security Center. - Want to know exactly how many devices you’ve set up in your Home? Now you can! Go to Settings > Devices to see the count of your installed devices. Plus, we’ve added a handy filter in the Lights section so you can easily view specific lights for each of your Bridges. Try it now - Looking for something? We now show battery replacement instructions, troubleshooting tips, and detailed device information in the edit screen of all switches and sensors.

- The Hue AI-powered assistant can now create automations on demand. Just describe what behavior you’d like, and it will create one for you. Don't worry – you can always adjust it later if necessary (available in selected countries for phones set to English). - You can now take quick actions directly from your locked screen for Hue secure motion detected notifications such as the ability to mark as a safe event or turn on lights from your security devices like indoor motion sensor, contact sensor and camera devices. - Your security timeline events will now be categorized as per security events, making it easier to read through your timeline history.

- Your switches, sensors, cameras, doorbells, chimes, sensor groups, and MotionAware areas (in Hue Bridge Pro) can now be found within rooms. Toggle them, check their latest status, access their edit screen faster, or just keep a more organized home. We've tried to assign them to rooms already whenever we were confident enough; you can re-assign them via Settings > Devices. - Bright idea! MotionAware areas can now use daylight level information of other sensors in your home to turn on lights only if they say it’s dark enough. Available also for all motion sensors, cameras, and sensor groups. - We've made it easier to interact with our Hue AI assistant using voice, giving you suggestions of scenes for any mood or need. Find it in the Home tab (available in selected countries for phones set to English) - Your Hue Secure cameras now automatically save recordings from the past 24 hours without needing to subscribe. Catch up on what you missed, replay important moments, and enjoy extra peace of mind — all within the Hue app. - You can now toggle lights on or off for an entire room with a single tap right from the iOS widget. - Now you can use Google Home and Samsung SmartThings to control multiple Bridges in your home. - Lights, camera… action! Did you know you can use your camera to control your lights when it detects motion? Now you can configure this even while initially onboarding the camera. - Ever wondered why sometimes you can’t find some scenes when configuring your switches or sensors? From now on we will automatically suggest creating a zone to avoid missing these scenes. You can always hide these new zones by editing your home dashboard.
