This is the most significant update to Pin Drop in over three years.

The app has been rebuilt with a new foundation and a refined interface, designed to feel faster, smoother and more reliable as your maps grow.

Territories replace Lists (paid plans)

Lists are now deprecated on paid plans. Territories provide a clearer way to organise areas of work and responsibility on the map.

Existing Lists are automatically converted into Tags, so nothing is lost.

SPEED IMPROVEMENTS
We’ve turbocharged performance across the app to give you faster load times and smoother navigation, especially when working with large lists and maps.

TEAM+ ARCHIVE PIN FEATURE
Team+ users can now archive pins to keep workspaces clean without losing historical data. Perfect for managing long-term projects or decluttering after a campaign.

BUG FIXES
We squashed a bunch of bugs. Thanks to everyone who reported issues!

NEW: SOLO PLAN
Our new Solo plan is here. Designed for individuals who need powerful mapping tools without the complexity.

The weather’s starting to get a little toasty here at Pin Drop HQ. One of the downsides of England is it’s just not build for mildly warm weather! Regardless, we’ve been busy updating the app and making some big plans for the app and website as we had into the summer and beyond. More on that to come soon.

This phenomenon, known as the Midnight Sun, means you can go hiking, kayaking or even golfing at midnight in full daylight. Today marks a huge milestone for Pin Drop—we’ve been on the App Store for 14 years. Fourteen! That’s 5,114 consecutive days—which is pretty mind-blowing when you stop to think about it.

A lot has happened in that time, and we’ve had the privilege of hearing from so many of you. We love it! To everyone who has downloaded Pin Drop, shared their places, and used it in incredible ways—thank you.
