The weather’s starting to get a little toasty here at Pin Drop HQ. One of the downsides of England is it’s just not build for mildly warm weather! Regardless, we’ve been busy updating the app and making some big plans for the app and website as we had into the summer and beyond. More on that to come soon. Until next time, to all our Scandi friends: we’ll be raising a glass of aquavit and maybe even hopping like frogs in your honour this Midsommar. Skål! - - - - - - - - - - - - IN THIS RELEASE: - - - - - - - - - - - - - Custom data (Team+ / Team Pro) - New routing - Various bug fixes PS: DID YOU KNOW… In Norway’s Lofoten Islands, above the Arctic, the sun doesn’t set at all between late May and mid-July. This phenomenon, known as the Midnight Sun, means you can go hiking, kayaking or even golfing at midnight in full daylight. It’s one of the few places on Earth where your summer holiday literally never has to end (until August anyway).

Today marks a huge milestone for Pin Drop—we’ve been on the App Store for 14 years. Fourteen! That’s 5,114 consecutive days—which is pretty mind-blowing when you stop to think about it. A lot has happened in that time, and we’ve had the privilege of hearing from so many of you. We love it! To everyone who has downloaded Pin Drop, shared their places, and used it in incredible ways—thank you. At the end of the day, it’s not just about the app—it’s about you. Pin Drop is what it is because of the people who use it, shape it, and bring it to life. So here’s to you—thank you for making it amazing! - - - - - - - - - - - - IN THIS RELEASE: - - - - - - - - - - - - - Update to Lists - Various bug fixes PS: DID YOU KNOW… The journey of Lewis and Clark across the American frontier took 14 years to fully document and map. The famous Corps of Discovery expedition (1804-1806) paved the way for westward expansion, but it wasn’t until 1818 that their maps and journals were completed and widely published.

Today’s poetic update is from no other than our in-house wordsmith, Mr William Shakespeare: Filters refined, thy search made clear, Tags and lists now swift appear. Metadata dost thee bestow, That every pin its tale may show. For teams, a pipeline fresh and bright, To track thy trade with keenest sight. Visits logged in manner true, Live dost thou see what comrades do. Bugs now banished, steps made neat, A fairer map beneath thy feet. Go forth, explore—let none thee stay, For Pin Drop lights thy wand’ring way! - - - - - - - - - - - - IN THIS RELEASE: - - - - - - - - - - - - - Simplified filters on pins, tags and lists - Additional meta data added to your pin drops - Teams: Brand new sales pipeline tracking on pins - Teams: New and improved visit recording functionality - Teams: Additional ‘Live Activity’ view for visits - Teams: Improved onboarding steps - Various bug fixes PS: DID YOU KNOW… There’s a place on earth where you can stand in four countries at once. At the point where Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana meet, there’s an unusual quadripoint — the only place in the world where four nations almost touch. While the exact meeting point is in the middle of the Zambezi River, it’s close enough that with the right positioning, you can technically stand in all four countries at once!
