Smarter identifications We've refined our AI to dig deeper when analyzing your items. Instead of generic descriptions, you'll now get specific maker, pattern, and era suggestions — even when there are no visible marks. More accurate pricing Pricing is now better calibrated across the board. Genuine antiques and collectibles are valued at what they actually sell for, while everyday items won't be overestimated. Add your own context Think our analysis missed something? You can now add details you know about an item — like the maker, where you got it, or its age — and re-run the analysis with that extra context. Faster, smoother experience We've fixed issues that could cause the app to freeze during analysis. You'll also see a cancel button and clear error messages if anything goes wrong, so you're never stuck on a loading screen. Explore the community Tap any item in the feed to see the full analysis. From your collection, you can now jump straight to the community feed to see what others are finding. Start collecting New to Provenance? The empty collection screen now has a clear button to get you scanning right away.
- v1.2.6iOS
Improved app stability by resolving a freeze that occurred during object recognition. Plus, we've polished the interface with several minor UI updates.

It's faster, more immersive, and way more fun to browse. React to finds you love Tap the smiley to drop a reaction on items that catch your eye. See what the community is loving in real time. We want your feedback On your second visit, we'll ask you a simple question: do you like Provenance? If you do, you can leave us a rating. Semi-transparent header and tab bar so you can focus on what matters: the antiques.

What's New in 1.2.1 • Smarter Identification — Our AI expert now gives more precise results: specific makers, pattern names, and detailed descriptions instead of generic labels. • Fairer Valuations — Prices now better reflect real market demand, especially for military collectibles, vintage furniture, and decorative arts. • Organize Your Way — Create your own collections and sort your finds exactly how you want. • Smoother Onboarding — Improved first-launch experience with better paywall flow. • Bug Fixes & Polish — Various stability improvements and visual refinements throughout the app.
- v1.2.0iOS
Your Collection, Your Rules What's new: • Custom Collections — Create your own collections and name them whatever you want. "Grandma's Attic Treasures"? "Stuff I Found at the Flea Market"? Go wild. • Organize on the fly — Assign items to a collection right when you save a scan, or later from the item detail. Long-press works too, for the power users out there. • Collector Ranks — You're not just scanning antiques, you're leveling up. From Curious Novice to Legend status. How far can you go? • Badge Collection — 18 achievements to unlock. Scan more, diversify, go deep. Each unlock comes with a little celebration because you deserve it. • Small fixes — Squashed a deprecated badge warning that was bothering absolutely no one except us. Happy collecting!
- v1.1.1iOS
What's New • React to discoveries — Express yourself on community finds with emoji reactions. Tap the smiley button on any post. • Infinite scroll — The Discover feed now loads seamlessly as you scroll. No more hard limit — browse through the entire community collection with smooth, cursor-based pagination. Improvements • Better readability — Replaced cramped tag pills with clean inline metadata. Period, origin, and rarity now flow naturally as text with colored icons and dot separators, fully visible even with longer descriptions. • Cleaner feed cards — Removed the redundant description text from Discover cards. Each post now shows the title, metadata, and price at a glance. • Onboarding polish — The progress bar no longer appears on the welcome screen, starting only once you begin the actual steps. Bug Fixes • Fixed a tap targeting issue where tapping the lower area of a feed card would open the item below it. Applied hit-test boundaries to all cards with clipped images (scan cards, articles, collection thumbnails). • Fixed pull-to-refresh clearing all visible reactions before new data finished loading. Reactions now persist until fresh data is ready. - v1.1.0iOS
Discover Feed Browse what others are finding! Every scan is now anonymously shared in a public Discover feed, so you can scroll through a growing collection of antiques spotted by the community. Want to keep a find to yourself? Toggle "Keep it private" (Premium). Smarter, Faster Scans We gave our AI expert a serious caffeine boost. Scans are now noticeably faster, and the results — from origin to pricing — are more accurate and consistent. Behind the scenes, we switched to a lighter AI model and optimized image processing so you spend less time waiting and more time discovering. Ask the AI Expert Got questions about a scanned item? Tap "Ask AI Expert" right from the detail view to start a conversation with full context about your antique. You can also access it from the Discover feed for general questions. Better Visual Matches Finding similar items online just got a lot more reliable. We revamped the search engine to run smarter queries and filter out the noise — so the results you see actually look like what you scanned. Your Collection, Refreshed The Collection tab got a visual makeover with cleaner stats, modernized item cards, and tags that no longer awkwardly overlap each other. Tell Us What You Think See something off in an analysis? Tap the ··· on any result block (price, origin, rarity…) and let us know in one tap. Your feedback directly helps us improve the AI — no forms, no fuss. Bug Fixes & Polish Fixed an issue where the public feed could fail to load Tags no longer get squeezed together on small screens Various stability improvements under the hood
