• AI Receptionist — let SalonApp answer your phone when you're with a
    client. The AI greets callers in your salon's voice, books
    appointments on the spot, and answers basic questions about hours,
    services, and location. Try it free with a 30-second test call, then
    subscribe to put it on a real phone number.

  • Smarter calendar import — pull existing bookings from Apple Calendar,
    Google Calendar, or any .ics file (Outlook, Calendly, your old
    booking app). SalonApp creates the matching staff, clients, and
    services on the fly so nothing gets lost.

  • Tolerant name matching — "Léa" matches "Lea", "Devon Reed" matches
    "REED, Devon". No more duplicate stylists or clients after a
    migration.

  • Live import progress — watch the import as it runs, see how many
    bookings were added, skipped, or auto-matched, and cancel anytime.

  • Walk-in fallback — events with too little detail to identify a
    client (personal reminders, blocked time) become "Walk-in (imported)"
    appointments you can clean up later. Nothing fails the import.

  • Calendar Sync is now part of first-time setup, so your existing
    bookings are in your salon from day one.
