Thank you so much for supporting me by subscribing! Notice how I haven't changed the prices for more than 7 years? My income has been going in the wrong direction for a few years, but don't worry, I'm not in critical territory yet. It sure would be nice with some more subscribers though.. :) If you have friends or followers who you think could benefit from using ShutterSnitch please consider mentioning it to them. Thanks again for your support and I hope you have a wonderful day! • Made the colored ShutterSnitch icon in the system Share sheet work with more formats and multiple files. • Added support for uploading to existing folders, and shortcuts to folders, on Google Drive. You will need to re-authenticate since another privilege is needed: reading metadata for existing files. Specifically, in order to upload a file to an existing folder, ShutterSnitch needs to be allowed to retrieve the folder-ID for the destination folder. • If you want to upload to a shared folder, create a shortcut to it on your own Google Drive and upload into that shortcut. • Added the ability to customize the Option menu via in-app Settings → Advanced tab → Customize Options Menu. • The Command+J keyboard shortcut (toggle auto-jump to new files) now also works in filmstrip mode. • Removed 'Change Password' from the Options menu. If you want to change the password, do it from in-app Settings → Advanced tab → Reset Superuser password. • Lots of minor fixes and improvements.
- v7.7.1iOS
• Bug fixes.
- v7.7.0iOS
• Added support for authentication on Sony Alpha cameras. • Minor fixes.
- v7.6.4iOS
• Added a setting to select the behavior of the « and » browser navigation buttons. You can pick the number of files it jumps or if it should jump to the next group of files separated by a certain time gap. You can find the setting in Settings → Browser → Navigation Jumps. Tip: Long-pressing the buttons in the user interface lets you quickly change between the options. • Added an option to copy deep links to files. Long-press / right-click the thumbnail on iOS/iPadOS/visionOS or Option+Cmd+C on macOS. • Bug fixes and optimizations.
- v7.6.3iOS
• Bug fixes and minor fixes.
- v7.6.2iOS
• Added the option to enable/disable status messages from the title tap-and-hold options in filmstrip mode. Exactly the same as flipping the toggle in the settings. • Added Tags to the title text options. • Added an undo option (shake or Cmd+Z) to the jump-to-beginning/end navigation in filmstrip mode. • Exiting the filmstrip selection mode will now stay focused on the currently focused area of files. • Minor fixes.
- v7.6.1iOS
• Added Undo to the bottom selection buttons in selection mode. (Shake on iOS/iPadOS, Command+Z on macOS.) • Fixed an issue causing some buttons in the More-buttons-menu to not work. • Minor fixes. In case you missed what was new in version 7.6.0: • Added support for iOS/iPadOS 26 and Liquid Glass. • Added search to the collections overview. You can search for collection title, file name, metadata caption, byline, or keyword. Tapping a result takes you right to the file or collection. • Added a dedicated drop-pin button to the Geolocation → Custom map in the Metadata Editor, allowing you to drop the pin at the currently focused map area. • The Share sheet Import extension now lets you invert the sorting of the collection picker if you want to see the latest collections at the top instead of the bottom. • Cleaned up the Browser page a bit in the settings and added an option to turn off the 2-finger rotation of JPEG files in Filmstrip mode. • Changed the Passive mode option for FTP Locations to three options: Passive, Active, and EPSV.
- v7.6.0iOS
• Added support for iOS/iPadOS 26 and Liquid Glass. • Bug fixes.
- v7.5.3iOS
• UI compatibility updates.
- v7.5.2iOS
• Fixed a bug that would prevent the Metadata Preset Editor from saving the metadata values to the Preset. • Minor fixes.
- v7.5.1iOS
• Added long press options to the copy and paste buttons in the Metadata Editor. These let you pick specific fields to copy and if you want to paste-and-merge values instead of replacing all metadata. Long pressing the paste option also lets you paste only to the marked files. Files can be marked using the ribbon-button in the image toolbar. • Added more keyboard shortcuts to the Metadata Editor. Cmd + arrow keys lets you navigate the files, Cmd + X lets you toggle their marked state. • Bug fixes and minor improvements.
- v7.5.0iOS
• I'm really sorry, but I have to mess with your visual memory again. The select-button in Filmstrip mode is now four circles with a checkmark in one of them instead of one large checkmark. It had to be done. • Added support for Content Credentials on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Unfortunately the C2PA signing library is not yet available for visionOS. If you are new to this, files with Content Credentials are signed every time they are edited in order to maintain a history of the changes. Signing will only occur on files that are already signed - or if you run the new Assign Content Credentials Action. • Added an Assign Content Credentials Action. This will let you sign files with a producer name and define allowed/disallowed uses. • If you have your own C2PA signing certificate you can replace the default one from the collection overview → Options → Settings → Advanced tab → Content Credentials. • Added a little downward pointing chevron to buttons that have a secondary (long press / right click) function. • Updated to libssh2 v1.11.1. If you've had SFTP handshake problems, this could be the fix. • The Condition Action is a little more rigorous finding serial numbers in metadata for the Camera serial number option. • Cleaned up the File/Edit menu a bit. • Lots and lots of under-the-hood improvements and fixes.
- v7.4.3iOS
• Added 'Camera serial number' to the Condition action. • Bug fixes.
- v7.4.2iOS
