This is the first release to contains audio menu and voice command remote control. It also includes improvements to behaviour when the screen is off and a fix to reduce queuing of audio callouts.
Language updates and tweaks to the user interface
Version 1.8 now allows the user to scroll through a list of Markers or Routes and has kept the tab bar at the top of the screen for familiarity and ease of access. It also fixes the bug that caused Soundscape Community to crash after a phone call!

Optimisations and enhancements to the core Soundscape experience. Additionally, we are introducing the Recreational Activities feature designed to allow the offline creation and import of routes which can then be shared with a Soundscape Community user, and which provide more information and details of the environment and surroundings. This was developed in close collaboration with Mobility Instructors to support them in the teaching and development of orientation and mobility skills for the range of different people they work with, including those who are blind or have low-vision, or developing navigation and wayfinding capabilities for everyone.
In this update, you can share Markers and Routes between different devices. We have also updated the feedback email and look forward to receiving feedback.
