Speaker Intercomv2.17

Released April 16, 2025Major

Android

The latest major update introduced video sharing and device connectivity features. While the update aimed to improve performance, early feedback indicates a critical regression in Bluetooth stability. The current data sample is too small to determine a definitive impact on the overall rating baseline.

What worked

New feature
No evidence of positive user reception exists due to the insufficient post-update sample size.

What didn't

Performance
backfired
Users report persistent Bluetooth disconnection issues immediately following the update, which contradicts the intended performance improvements.

Marlvel takeaways

Investigate Bluetooth handshake protocols to address the high frequency of reported connection failures post-update.
Monitor the Android platform for additional feedback as the current sample size of one review is insufficient to confirm a trend.
