Stilla: Skincare Scannerv3.3

Released September 15, 2025Redesign

iOS

The latest redesign introduced on-device AI and Siri integration, yet the update triggered immediate friction due to the transition of free features to a paid model. While the rating increased by 0.12 stars, the sample size remains too small to confirm a positive trend. The net impact is currently neutral as feature utility competes with monetization pushback.

What worked

New feature
Users report value in the new Siri integration and customized routine scheduling features.

Marlvel takeaways

Re-evaluate the paywall strategy for previously free features to mitigate negative sentiment surfacing post-update.
Monitor the retention of the current user base as the sample size of three reviews is insufficient to confirm long-term impact.
Promote the new on-device AI Smart Summaries to offset dissatisfaction regarding the monetization changes.
