Original release notes
so much goodness, where do we even start? -let's start with with color & graphics. we're introducing the ability to view & navigate color ranges which are now available in swatchbook. designers can creating stunning variations of an existing primary material by utilizing recolored scans, graphics or solid colors. inside the iOS application you can now view all the variation branches and their visuals including the ability to quickly swap colors on the 3d models -did we just say 3d? yes indeed we did. we're expanding our visual expanse to cover 3d assets. we are starting with generic industry type categories to view your materials on. this includes apparel, footwear, homegoods, accessories & products. you don't have to model anything, or be a technical wizard because all you have to do to access them is to use our brand new smart tag system! -wait smart what? smart tags. oh yeah, and they're lit. available on all platforms, we are taking tagging to the next level by providing a context sensitive tag system that will open dedicated sub-set of tags based on the original tag. the tags at the top level determine the material’s category, and attach a 3d model to the tag, so that you can see your material in 3d, instantly. and they work beautifully with our capture to manufacture capabilities. -capture to manufacture? are you kidding me? no. no we are not kidding you. be inspired by anything you see. grab your phone, snap a picture, size it, tweak it, tag it, and see it in 3d. just like that. anywhere. anytime. save it, annotate it, share it. and that beautiful brick wall you just captured may just end up as next year’s hottest new material on your shoes. those are the big key features for this release but there were a ton of improvements, workflow enhancements & bug fixes because we want to make sure you are getting the best user experience possible. why? cause we love you!
