Read on to learn more. And then download the app. -let's start with the big news. swatchbook is growing up. that means it has more responsibilities. while our focus remains to be on materials, we also realized many of our customers use swatchbook to visually & intuitively navigate other non-material elements, so we decided to make those elements part of the family. in this update we are introducing graphics, colors, assets & documents as new additions to the family! -did you just say graphics? why yes indeed we did. that means you can store all your lovely graphic designs, print designs, logos as unique first class citizens of swatchbook. infact, you can even browse them independently from materials, & save them into collections. oh, you can even combine them with materials! -wait wait wait! What do you mean combine them? shhhhhh check back in very soon! -what about colors? does that mean i have to input my colors one by one manually like a savage? well, you can but we can also ingest an entire swatch color library from a single Adobe swatch exchange file (.ase). we store them using their .ase names & create a collection from that group. -assets? what type of assets can we save. well you can save anything you want really but what we built this for is mainly for things you constantly reuse in the material/product workflow like lasts, fit avatars, trim & 3d assets. -wow wow wow. 3d assets? didn’t we mention that last time? yes 3d assets which you can then use along our patent pending smart tag workflow allowing users to utilize the capture to manufacture workflow with custom 3d products. -custom 3d products? when did that get added? we had that in 1.2 as a public beta & will now transition this to a full feature. it’s amazing to see customers use their OWN designs on the fly, on mobile, instantly, intuitively all while being synced to the cloud, anywhere in the world. -ok ok ok, that's got to be it.…
