Original release notes

The Hide Guide now works fully offline. Take every reserve, species record and map with you — no signal needed. Download country map packs (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland - or all of them!) and hundreds of British bird calls for the field. Log sightings offline and they'll sync when you're back in range. We've also switched to beautiful new self-hosted maps across the app, redesigned sign-in, and polished layouts throughout.

This update also brings The Hide Guide to iPad "properly", with a full redesign built for the bigger screen — a new navigation rail, richer reserve and species pages, and a side-by-side site map with every hide and facility at a glance. On iPhone, a smarter filter bar makes browsing 29,000+ species and 4,300+ reserves faster, your Life List gets a fresh photo-first card layout, and the redesigned Home screen surfaces more of each day’s wildlife highlights. You can now draw a search area straight onto the map, set up sighting alerts with push notifications, check tide times for coastal reserves, and share your public profile with a QR code.
