Today’s patch addresses a number of issues reported by the community, along with a variety of general improvements. -Community Reported- • Corrected several instances of mistranslation in Spanish. • Updated several prompts for clarity, including Catnip and Catcall (and all similar effects) as well as prompting around discarding Lesson cards. • Resolved a number of issues with the add friend flow. -Gameplay- • Fixed several bugs where challenge and Rescue rules modifiers were not functioning as intended. • Re-worded portions of the Rescue scoring screen for greater clarity. • Corrected several softlocks and game crashes, including several which occurred in Rescues with certain modifiers. -UX/UI- • Adjusted highlight positioning, shape and size throughout the game, including an issue where rare treasure highlights could become obtrusive. • Resolved overlapping textures, objects and text. • Corrected some visual issues with the auto-camera. • Corrected numbering of tiles on the beach. • Moved opponents’ boats closer to player’s, enabling better visibility when zoomed fully out. Opponent boats are still off-screen when zoomed far enough in. -Gamepad- • Fixed an issue where certain Anytime cards couldn’t be played during Jump In windows while using a gamepad. • Improved gamepad functionality on certain prompts, including the friends list and chat. • You can now correctly use the bug report modal with gamepad (though we hope you don’t need to!). • Hotkeys to open certain prompts now work correctly while you have the chat window open. -Mobile- • Added UI for precise tile adjustments to account for difficulty with manually dragging. • Adjusted mobile cat tile tray for ease of use with certain cards. • Fixed an issue where the front end menu could fail to load. • Resolved several minor UI issues such as incorrect fonts and overlapping icons. • Fixed an issue where a blown-up card could reappear after dismissing it. • The leaderboards should now properly display usernames. • Treasure tiles should no longer overlap no matter what order they’re drawn in. -AI- • Fixed a case where the AI would play slowly. • Resolved an AI crash which could occur when the Extended Family and Whale modifiers were enabled in Rescue. • Solo games will now properly show your sister’s score when skipping the scoring count-up animation. • Your sister has been caught cheating and no longer gains points from Public Lessons in Solo mode. • The easy AI will now go a little lighter on drafting Lesson cards. • The AI now overall makes more natural decisions about drafting Lesson and Rescue cards. -Front-End- • Added confirmation and clarification of text for reporting other players. • Corrected issue of miscounted Lessons in Player History. • Rescue page now reloads when Rescue timer hits zero. • Updated Treasure Trove Challenge text for clarity. • Corrected spots where non-English text could overflow its borders at certain resolutions. • You should now be able to change your avatar and color when joining a match even if you’re the last player to join and the game auto-starts.
