Astral Rebalance

Both the Light and Dark Astral power trees have been rebalanced in a number of ways to make them more viable on their own. New Astral powers have been added as part of this rebalancing effort, and some Dark Astral powers have updated functionality.

Ooze Rebalance

Ooze powers received a smaller rebalance pass that buffs ooze damage to make Ooze more competitive with other elemental choices.

Alopex

Play as Alopex, the fastest fox ninja in NYC! Alopex wields her kama and kunai with deadly accuracy, at times moving so quickly that her foes won't know what hit them. This release also comes with 5 brand new Artifacts.

New Hexed Arcade Mode Challenges

Each location in Arcade Mode now has a new Hexed Challenge. Hexed Challenges are not for the faint of heart, as they come with hexes already applied and provide increased difficulty.

Ninja Ranks

Earn Ninja Ranks by defeating Shredder! You will now see a icon that represents your victories next to your health bar.

New Rooms

New Rooms have been added throughout the campaign for added variety on runs.

Wraiths in Campaign
Wraiths have invaded campaign runs! Now, you can find Wraith enemies in your regular runs in addition to Arcade Mode. There are also new Wraith Miniboss encounters available in Sewers and in Rooftops.

Arcade Mode Updates
In addition to some general balance updates to the challenges themselves, we have updated the unlock criteria for Arcade Mode and the challenges within. You will retain access to any challenges you have previously unlocked. We have also added new first-time completion rewards for each challenge that will be granted retroactively. Wraiths teleporting out of bounds has been improved significantly.

Unleash the Machine: Metalhead Joins the Fight!

A new playable character is here with fan-favorite Metalhead taking the stage! As the first fully ranged character, plan to keep a safe distance while blasting enemies, firing off homing missiles, and laying down landmines. The Metalhead Character update comes with 5 brand new Artifacts that will be granted upon entering the Home Lair.

Robotics Powers

Did someone say new Powers? Introducing Robotics Powers, which focus on leveraging Charges for some timed damage. There are other fun surprises in store for those who fully explore this element. Try out new Drone tools that focus on automatically dealing damage to multiple enemies when used. Pick up the Positronic Motherboard Artifact to influence getting these Powers during your run.

Controls
There is a new setting in the Options menu called "Aim Assist Level" that will allow you to configure how sensitive the combat experience is relative to where your cursor is. Set this to High to return to the previous control experience where cursor placement has lower relevance.
Targeting on controllers has also been improved.

Boss Fights
The Karai and Shredder boss fights have been rebalanced to better reflect their position in the campaign. There have also been difficulty tweaks to the Leatherhead Amphibian Ambush and Gigi fights.

Dragon & Dreamer Coins
We have rebalanced the cost of Dragon and Dreamer upgrades, dramatically reducing the overall grind. Costs across the board have been significantly adjusted, with reduced costs from early all the way to endgame upgrades. Artifact upgrade costs have also been significantly reduced.

Powers & Tools
We have done a broad pass on updating balance across all the power trees and tools in the game. If you have been finding yourself gravitating to similar builds over and over, give some new ones a try!

Casey Jones & The Junkyard Jam

A brand new Chapter is here! Play as fan favorite Casey Jones while exploring the Punk Frogs' Junkyard hideout where they continue to cause trouble for our heroes. This update features an all new narrative storyline, new encounters, and new powers to enhance your experience (plus more!). Make sure you are strong enough to take on Gigi and The Junkinator, or they will stand in the way of rescuing Splinter.  If you prefer to test your luck in the Junkyard, you can avoid the Streets by choosing the right path after defeating Karai.

Careful, things get slippery when wet!
Water Powers have been upgraded. Still Waters now guarantees your next strike to be a final strike as well as increasing damage, and a brand new ability, High Tide, now adds additional water damage and movement speed to Still Waters. Torrential Strike refreshes Torrent Stacks on every attack, making it much easier to maintain, and a new ability, Torrential Rain, adds a Torrent stack on special and Tool hits as well + 4 water damage per stack! But you can't take both Torrential Strike and Still Waters, so pick wisely!

Things are about to get Legendary!
Legendary Turtle Powers are now easier to find. Cowabunga!

Couch Co-op
TMNT Splintered Fate is great to play with others, so grab 3 friends and 4 controllers and enjoy 4 player couch co-op.

Cross Platform Multiplayer
A new flow into multiplayer allows for players to play together regardless of platform. Share your code with your friends to join together for up to 4 player online co-op.

Optimised Controller Experience
Our gameplay HUD has now been optimised for controllers. As you change between input methods the game will optimise the UI for your controls. All menus are now much easier to navigate with a controller.

Enhanced Visuals, Music and Audio
Enjoy new lighting effects and more detailed environments, updated music and support for surround sound!

A reduced difficulty mode now allows players to enjoy TMNT Splintered Fate in a more casual way! Don’t worry, for those that love a challenge we’ve kept the original difficulty as our Challenge Mode.

Story Mode
A new way to enjoy TMNT Splintered Fate. Designed for those that are new to Roguelikes or desire an easier experience. Story Mode allows players of all levels to enjoy the game.

Story mode is not available in Multiplayer.

Dragon Upgrade Balancing
In order to help with your first few runs we’ve reduced the cost of the first few levels of dragon upgrades.
- Increased chance of getting Dragon Coins early in one's career
- There is now also one additional Splinter’s Revive purchasable from the Dragon Upgrade’s screen.

Acid Neutralization
Overlapping pools of Acid were dealing more damage than had been intended. Overlapping pools no longer deal their combined damage.

Genghis Frog has claimed the sewers as Punk Frog turf, are you going to let that slide? New Miniboss fight, fight Genghis Frog and Napoleon Bonafrog in Punks in the Pipes!
